There are so many considerations when planning a honeymoon and we always recommend to start with a couple of days to relax and wind down after the wedding. Although we appreciate everyone has different ideas about relaxation. For some this can mean a traditional beach holiday, on the palm fringed beaches of the Indian Ocean, for example the resorts of Zanzibar's east coast or the barefoot luxury of Mozambiques exclusive retreats. The most popular choices are safari and beach combinations in Eastern and Southern Africa, or golf and beach combinations in South Africa’s beautiful Cape region. Others prefer to get away from it all in remote wilderness areas such as a relaxing luxury safari in Botswana. We have recently arranged a trekking honeymoon in the Tanzanian Highlands, the adventurous couple went hunting with the hunter gatherer Hadzabe people at Lake Eyasi! Another option could be tracking mountain gorillas in Uganda's Bwindi National Park. One couple even chose an overlanding trip!
