11 Day Botswanna Adventure Itinerary
This itinerary starts with a luxury SAFARI lodge in Livingstone, the perfect place to wind down and tune into Africa before heading out to the remote areas of the Moremi Game Reserve. Mobile Camping is a wonderful way to experience the African wilderness, there is something magical about sleeping under canvas, you feel part of the surrounding bush. Forget any ideas of boy scout style camping, this is the fully serviced option, you even get your own personal chef.
Day 1
On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met by a Mahlatini representative for your transfer to Tongabezi on the banks of the Zambezi Rivers. Tongabezi is a stunning lodge and makes a perfect base for exploring the magnificent Victoria Falls Road transfer to Tongabezi for a 2 night stay.
Days 2-3
Enjoy a tour of the Victoria Falls. There is plenty of time to enjoy the various activities such as white water rafting, bungy jumpy, micro lighting or sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. .
Day 4
Road and boat transfer to Kasane in Botswana. Here you will transfer by light aircraft to the Okavango Delta for your 7 night mobile safari. 3 nights in the Western Moremi Game Reserve. Mobile safaris are a wonderful way to explore Botswana. The private camp is set up ahead of your arrival and all tents have en suite toilets.
Days 5-6
Two days of activities including game drives and walks.
Day 7
Enjoy a full day exploring the Delta waterways by mokoro. Overnight fly camping on an island in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
Days 8-10
Boat out of the water region in the western area of the Moreme Game Reserve. Game drive to a second location in the Eastern Moremi Game Reserve and spend 3 nights game viewing and exploring.
Day 11
Light aircraft transfer to Maun for a scheduled flight to Johannesburg for international flight connections.
