Chobe Game Lodge
Set on the banks of the Chobe River overlooking the Caprivi floodplains, Chobe Game
Lodge is the only lodge situated within the Chobe National Park, which is home to an
estimated 35,000 elephants.
All 46 rooms are river facing and have a private terrace or balcony. They are furnished
with comfort in mind and are equipped with air conditioning, overhead fans,
complimentary personal bar, hairdryer and en suite bathroom. In addition there are four
suites with their own plunge pool and separate lounge area.
The guest areas with their high arches, quarry tiled floors and barrel vaulted ceilings
create an atmosphere of cool tranquillity. They incorporate a lounge, cigar bar with
champion sized billiard table, restaurant with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe
River, curio shop, business centre, conference room and reference library. Outside in
the attractive grounds, where warthog graze undisturbed, there is a large swimming
pool with terrace and riverside boma where traditional dancers perform.
Safari activities are varied and include game viewing by vehicle, boat or on foot. Game
drives are conducted in open sided 4x4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility, while
game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft boats piloted by
expert boatmen. The lodge’s resident professional guides offer, on request, slide
shows, star gazing presentations and garden and river walks.
