The beautiful Marula trees and the tall African Ebony Trees, provide a cool shade
over the banks of the Kwando River, where the Lagoon Camp sits. Regarded as one
of the most spectacular settings of any of the safari camps, Lagoon Camp is home
to a range of various birds and animals that come to pay a visit every day. Look
out over the river from your tent as a family of hippos relaxes in the water or
a herd of elephants play at the waters edge.
During the hot months, you can relax in the pool or take a boat cruise along the
Kwando River, which provides excellent birding opportunities or try your hand at
fly or spin fishing, which are available along the river. The staff will provide
you with anything you need and ensure you have a relaxing stay. Lagoon Camp has
8 beautiful safari style tents that look out over the river. The camp accommodates
16 guests with each tent offering its own private en-suite facilities, including
24 hour hot and cold running water, open-air showers, flush toilets and other modern
amenities.
