Trip Itinerary


Day 1 - Flight



Depart for your flight to Johannesburg (excluded).

Days 2 to 5 - Cape Town



Arrive in magnificent Cape Town or the mother city as it is know. Pick up your hire car from the airport and drive the 40 or so minutes your luxury hotel on the V&A Waterfront, the Table Bay Hotel. Spend your next three days exploring Cape Town and the surrounding area. Attractions in the city include Table Mountain, Robben Island, Bokaap or the V&A Waterfront. Alternatively just relax in the sun on one of the cities many beautiful beaches. Take a day to explore the stunning coastline stopping the see the penguins at boulders beach, the historic Naval Town of Simonstown and the dramatic Chapmans Peak drive ending at the Cape Point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans are meant to meet. You can perhaps partake in one of the very popular township tours. Alternatively why not take in a round of golf at Steeneberg or Erinvale, do some shopping at the V&A Waterfront, visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, exploring the leafy Constantia suburbs or lounging on the nearby beaches of Clifton or Camps Bay.

Days 5 to 7 - Winelands



Take a leisurely drive out to the Winelands region (about 1.5 hours drive) and on to the historic village of Franschhoek deep in the Cape Winelands. You will spend the next 2 nights at the The Franschoek Country House and Villa. Started by the French Huguenots in the late 1600’s this wonderful little town has styled itself as the culinary capital of South Africa. Spend your next two days taking in the sights and sounds of the Cape Winelands. Try the local wine on a guided tour of some of the finest wine estates that South Africa has to offer or enjoy some of the wonderful restaurants for which the winelands is famous.

Days 7 to 9 - Selinda Reserve



An early rise and head to Cape Town Airport where you will drop off your hire car and catch your flight to Johannesburg for your onward journey to Maun in Botswana. On arrival in Maun you will clear customs and head out via light aircraft for your flight bound for Selinda Camp. Selinda Camp is situated in the Selinda Reserve set between the Okavango Delta and the floodplains of the Linyanti swamps. Selinda Camp is characterised by game rich flood plains which play host to a variety of antelope, zebra, wild dog, lion, cheetah and plenty of elephant.

Day 9 to 12 - Okavango Delta



After your morning game activities and a relaxing breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight from Selinda Camp to the Jacana Camp in the heart of awesome Okavango Delta. A true water camp it is situated in one of the most densly populated areas for the beautiful red lechwe and sitatunga antelope as well as abundant elephant, leopard lion and buffalo. The camp offers mekoro and walking safaris all year round and 4x4 safaris when the floodwaters have receded.

Day 12 - Flight Home



After a relaxing morning with more game activities you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your short light aircraft flight to Maun Airport. From here you will fly to Johannesburg where you will catch your international flight back home.
