Trip Itinerary


Day 1 - Flight



Depart for your flight to Johannesburg (excluded).

Days 2 to 4 - Okavango Delta



Arrive Johannesburg and transfer to your flight for Maun in Botswana and the gateway to the magnificent Okavango Delta. On arrival in Maun you will clear customs and be met for your short flight via light aircraft to Jao Camp in the Okavango Delta. Jao is situated in a private concession called the Jao Reserve which flanks the Moremi Game Reserve. Spend the next 2 days participating in the activities on offer at the camp from canoe trips, to game drives, walking, fishing and boat cruises.

Days 4 to 6 - Linyanti Concession



After your morning activities you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your short flight to Kings Pool Camp which is situated in the Linyanti Concession between the Chobe and Okavango Delta. Famous for it’s Elephant which can be seen all year round but peak roughly from May till late Oct and Lion, Leopard and Wild Dogs which are seen regularly. Spend the next 2 days participating in the activities on offer at the camp from game drives and walking or for those just wanting to relax enjoy some time in the Lodge’s Hide and watch the wildlife come down to drink. .

Day 6 to 8 - Livingstone



After a relaxing morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Kasane Airport where you will clear customs and then catch the short flight to Livingstone, the home of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park or Smoke that Thunders National Park and the famous Victoria Falls. You will be staying at the River Club where you can enjoy your next two days taking in the falls, enjoying boat cruises up the mighty Zambezi or for the more adventurous there is white water rafting or even bungee jumping!

Day 8 to 9 - Johannesburg



A further morning to take in the sights and sounds of Livingstone after lunch you will be transferred to the aiport for your flight to Johannesburg where you will overnight at the Intercontinental Airport Sun Hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the international terminal at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg so is conveniently situated for your connection to the Mozambique the following day.

Days 9 to 14 - Benguerra Island



Spend the morning at your leisure in your hotel from where you will check in again for your onward flight with Pelican Air to Vilanculos in Mozambique. On arrival you will clear customs and then transfer by light aircraft to Benguerra Island and the fantastic Benguerra Lodge. Spend the next 5 nights involved in one of the many activities on offer at the lodge from Dhow cruises, fishing, diving and snorkelling, island walks, sea kayaking and many more.

Day 14 - Flight Home



Return to Vilanculos for your flight to Johannesburg where you will connect on for your international flight back home (Excluded).
