Day 1 - Flight
Depart for your flight to Johannesburg (excluded).
Day’s 2 to 4
Arrive Johannesburg and transfer to your flight to Livingstone, the home of the
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park or Smoke that Thunders National Park and the famous
Victoria Falls. You will be staying at the Riverclub where you can enjoy your next
two days taking in the falls, enjoying boat cruises up the mighty Zambezi or for
the more adventurous there is white water rafting or even bungee jumping!
Day’s 4 to 6
After breakfast you will be transferred for an amazing scenic adventure by road,
boat, road and boat through 3 countries (Zambia, Botswana and Namibia) - taking
approximately an hour and a half to Ntwala Island. All the while you will be hosted
and assisted through the immigration facilities. This is a fascinating opportunity
to experience closely the marvel of the rivers, geographical mysteries and cultural
heritage of this fascinating area. Arrival at Ntwala Island Lodge is by boat where
you will spend two nights on this pristine island. Ntwala Island Lodge offers a
variety of activities; a private boat cruise down the Chobe river to watch African
wildlife, a river cruise up the Zambezi River, walks on the Islands, a cultural
village visit, fishing or simply relaxing at a magic setting. Personalized service,
culinary expertise and quality private guided big game activities are an assurance.
Chobe National Park contains the world's largest concentration of elephants and
offers the world's best game viewing by boat. A gentle cruise down the Chobe River
is truly a highlight, and the best way to view both the elephants and a host of
other game coming down to drink from the river's edge.
Day 6 to 8
After your morning game activities and a relaxing breakfast you will be transferred
by boat back to Kasane where you will cross the border and head via light aircraft
into the Okavango Delta and Little Kwara Camp where you will stay for the next two
nights. Spend the next 2 days participating in the activities on offer at the camp
from mokoro trips, to game drives, walking, fishing and boat cruises.
Day 8 to 9
After a relaxing morning with more game activities you will be transferred to the
local airstrip for your short light aircraft flight to Maun Airport. From here you
will fly to Johannesburg where you will overnight at the Intercontinental Airport
Sun Hotel. The hotel is a short shuttle bus from the international terminal at OR
Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg so is conveniently situated for your connection
to Mozambique the following day.
Days 9 to 14
Spend the morning at your leisure in your hotel from where you will check in again
for your onward flight with Pelican Air to Vilanculos in Mozambique. On arrival
you will clear customs and then transfer by light aircraft to Benguerra Island and
the fantastic Benguerra Lodge. Spend the next 5 nights involved in one of the many
activities on offer at the lodge from Dhow cruises, fishing, diving and snorkelling,
island walks, sea kayaking and many more.
