Botswana Family Holiday - 10 days

Contact a specialist about our Botswana Family Holiday

The following sample family holiday will show your family the highlights of Botswana. Due to the abundance of activities on offer Mahlatini have found that most families wish to incorporate Victoria Falls in Zambia at the start of the trip. From here it is all about exploring the 2 best wildlife regions in the country the Linyanti / Savute region and the highlight of the trip the Okavango Delta. Due to the long drives involved a fly-in safari is usually best for families and you can include any combinations of the parks that you desire. If you like you can also add on a desert experience in the Kalahari or Makagadikgadi.

In many cases guests like the idea of a twin centre holiday and move on from Botswana to the beaches of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa, Mozambique or Mauritius or incorporate Cape Town. What you choose is dependent on season, how much time you have on your hands and of course budget. The below itinerary is a sample of a 10 day Victoria Falls and Botswana holiday. For each region we have provided a choice of 3 accommodation options to cater to a range of budgets. Of course there are plenty of camps to choose from but these are a few of our favourites.

The Gorilla tekking was amazing and we saw so much wildlife in the other game parks too. Sarah has been amazing – not only in helping us coordinate this, but also in answering our many questions all of the time
