7 Day Classic Kenya Safari Itinerary
This tour will enable you to enjoy the very best of Kenya’s wildlife and scenery. We have suggested using good quality lodges chosen for their location, value for money and friendly service. We operate this trip throughout the year as each season offers it’s own highlights and attractions. You can easily extend this trip with a stay at one of our recommended beach resorts.
Day 1
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be met by your drive/guide. It’s a 10 minute drive to our office for your tour briefing and coffee before driving north to Mount Kenya National Park (195 km – 4-5 hours).
Accommodation: Overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge
Day 2
After an early breakfast depart for the Samburu Game Reserve. Game viewing en route. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Day 3
A full days game viewing in the Samburu Game Reserve. We recommend an early drive before breakfast at the lodge. After lunch enjoy an afternoon of game viewing.

Day 4
ADepart Samburu and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley.
Lunch at the lodge followed by a game viewing/ bird watching drive around the lakeshore.

Day 5
Depart after breakfast and drive to the Loita Plains then continue to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game viewing drive.

Day 6
Early morning and afternoon game drive in the Mara Game reserve.

Day 7
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi for air transfer to the coast or international flight connections. If you are leaving Kenya most of the European flights depart in the evening but we can arrange a day room for you at any of the city centre hotels.
