10 Day Kenya Family Safari Adventure Itinerary
This active safari will keep all the family amused. You can be as active as you want or just relax in the camps and enjoy an arm chair safari and the swimming pool. The game drives can be combined with walks to add variety to your day. The transfers between camps are by light aircraft which is a great adventure itself.
Day 1
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be met by a Mahlatini representative and transferred to Macushla House in Nairobi’s Karen district. Afternoon at leisure, relax by the pool or visit the nearby giraffe sanctuary.
Accommodation: Overnight at Macushla House
Day 2
Early morning transfer to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. You will be met on arrival by your driver/guide, game viewing en route to camp
Accommodation: Overnight at Tortillis Camp
Day 3
Enjoy a full day of activities from game drives to bush walks with a back drop of Kilimanjaro. The bush walks are suitable for children and led by a Masai warrior giving you a fascinating cultural insight. Or, just relax and enjoy an arm chair safari or laze by the pool.

Day 4
Early morning air transfer to Sabuk for Laikipia. You will be met on arrival by your driver/guide game viewing en route to the lodge. Set in the remote landscape of Northern Kenya, you can choose to stay in the lodge or fly camp walking with camels through the bush. Watching the wildlife and big game on foot or from a saddle is an delight. The traditional camp is set up by your Samburu trackers who will share their knowledge of bush craft.

Days 5-6
Two full day to explore Laikipia, walking, riding with camels or by 4 wheel drive vehicle. The walking is easy and ideal for inquisitive children wishing to learn about bush craft and wildlife. Or, you can just relax and enjoy the pool in camp.

Day 7
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for light aircraft transfer to the Masai Mara. You will be met on arrival by your driver/guide, game viewing en route to camp. The camp here is set in one of the Masai Mara’s best game viewing areas. Masai trackers will accompany you on game drives and walks and will actively involve you tracking animals.

Days 8-9
Two full days to enjoy exploring the Masai Mara.

Day 10
After a final game drive in the Mara transfer to Nairobi for connections to your chosen beach resort or international flight home
