92 PRESTIGE ROOMS (45 sq. m)
Distributed in 3 levels (Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor), the 92 sea facing prestige rooms are located on the south wing of the resort. Each room has access to a private balcony and some directly overlook the swimming pool. Its area provides enough comfortable space to accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. Interconnecting prestige rooms are available for families.
137 JUNIOR SUITES (68 sq. m)
The 137 newly built Junior Suites (41 Beachfront & 96 Seaview) are nestled in the north wing of the Resort. Its bedroom with its exclusive decor provides a unique accommodation experience. A private and furnished balcony or terrace will tend to retain you in your suite. Ground floor and first floor inter leading Junior Suites are available.
6 DELUXE SUITES (96 sq. m)
Our 6 ocean view Deluxe Suites are all located in the south wing. Every Deluxe Suite has a separate living room and has an optional feature of being connected to a Prestige room, ideal for families.
20 VILLAS WITH PRIVATE POOL
The villas of Belle Mare Plage are the embodiment of a new art of living. The 20 Villas of 375 to 525 sq.m (with 2 to 3 bedrooms, some are beachfront) evoke feelings of romance and timelessness. With a lounge and outside relaxing areas overlooking your private pool, the Villas offer a layout and a living space that cannot be equalled. Your stay within the villas are personalised thanks to the Villa Master. A fully qualified Villa Master is appointed to each villa. All aspects of service are personalised in order to anticipate your needs. The Villa Master will protect your privacy and remain at your disposal from the day of your arrival to your departure, The landscaping surrounding the Villas is enhanced by small lakes, frangipani and coconut groves. Having stayed in a villa we feel that this is the perfect accommodation for families or two or three couples. Whilst staying in the Villas you still enjoy all the facilities of the resort – the best of both worlds. The Villas are exceptional value from May to October particularly if shared by 2 or 3 couples.
PRESIDENTIAL VILLA
This unique Villa within an exclusive location comprises of 2 ground floor rooms and first master bedroom as well as a living & dining room and a kitchen which guarantees complete privacy. With its private pool and spacious veranda, the Presidential Villa offers 650 m2 of living, and exterior exclusive space in a peaceful location far from main hotel building. Two Villa masters are permanently at the service of the guests during their stay. Simply stunning!
Golf Courses - The Legend and The Links
The two championship golf courses, The Legend & The Links are of international standard. Each 18 holes is a real challenge for professional and amateurs alike, recognised by the PGA and various other federations, these courses were conceived to annually host a number of international competitions including the Mauritius Open.

At Belle Mare Plage every meal is reason to celebrate. We have enjoyed eating in all the restaurants and can honestly say that the food is superb!
La Citronnelle
A real food court renowned for its varied cuisine, this restaurant serves tropical and italian buffets, grills, and seafood with a hint of Asian flavours and aromas. Kids corner with separate buffet, accompanied by the resorts hostesses.
La Spiaggia
Situated in a private corner near the villas this is our favourite restaurant. It offers a Mediterranean meals allowing you to experience its fine cuisine with a blend of Italian and fresh island products.
Blue Penny Cafe
Fine dining gastronomic Mauritian cuisine that offers a broad menu of unique cosmopolitan flavours in an exclusive and enchanting environment. This restaurant is tucked under cascading waterfalls, with water rippling at the eye level of guests. The wine list is splendid and this restaurant is a must for any special occasions.
The Deer Hunter
The restaurant is located at the Legend course clubhouse. It is open for breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. The chef Mike Payenmootoo offers exclusive European cuisine combined with a Mauritian flavour, in a fine dining ambiance. A half-board menu is also available every day for dinner (reservations required due to limited capacity). Continental breakfast buffet is also available for early golfers.
The Swing
Situated at the Links Golf Club, the restaurant overlooks the magnificent golf course. Open for lunch only it offers a selection of sandwiches and salads.
La Kaze Salad Bar and Grill
This is a beach restaurant, situated near the Prestige rooms, serves a variety of snacks, salads, sandwiches, grilled dishes, pizzas and light meals. Afternoon tea and pancakes are also available.
Restaurant Indigo
Beachside restaurant open only for lunch and for special evenings such as lobster dinners. The restaurant is perfectly situated at the water's edge, offering a splendid view of the lagoon. Our favourite lunchtime restaurant that also offers the opportunity to order your food and drinks without leaving your sun bed.

Mini-Club
The Kakoo Club is open from 9am to 9pm for children aged from 4 to 12 years. It comprises of a game room, a playground and a private pool. Indoor and outdoor activities are organized daily under supervision. Lunch at La Kaze and dinner in buffet style is available for children. Babysitting facilities are available on request (payable). There are special evenings for teenagers.

Free Golf & Activities
Offering unlimited free golf on the resorts two 18-hole championship courses and also on the 9-hole Gary Player course at neighbouring St Geran hotel, golfers will find it exceptionally good value. Also available are numerous free water sports and activities as shown below. We regularly visit the resort and can honestly say that it is the finest of it's kind. The superb Touessrok ‘island’ course is 15 minutes away and we can arrange golf at discounted rates for you.
