The Bazaruto Archipelago consists of just 5 islands off Mozambique’s southern coastline. The stunning coral reefs that line the seas off these islands are home to over 2000 species of fish, whales and dolphin with numerous types of coral creating perfection in diving locations, well regarded as some of the best spots in the world. Further off the coast, in the deeper channels sailfish and marlin provide for unbelievable deep sea fishing on an almost daily basis. The entire archipelago is preserved as a national park.

Benguerra Island

The chalets merge within the surrounding indigenous acacia and Natal Mahogany forest. However, each chalet is no more than 20 meters from the beach and each has sea view.

Meals are fresh from the sea, with delicacies such as crayfish, crab and calamari tantalisingly prepared or exotic Portuguese dishes. Lunches are relaxed affairs served in different settings and always with unsurpassed personal attention.

Bazaruto Island is one of 5 principal islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago, which lies just 30km off the coast of Vilanculos in Inhambane Province. The number of reef dive locations is amazing and divers are able to see: over 100 species of hard and soft corals, thousands of tropical fish species, 5 different kinds of dolphins, 4 whale species and sharks, all 5 marine sea turtle species and the largest population of the rare Dugong (sea cow).

Marlin Lodge

Marlin's 19 En-Suite Chalets stretch along the beach of Flamingo Bay. Each sea-facing chalet has a private patio with a walkway down to the sandy white beach. The wood-reed-and-thatch chalets are a blend of elegance and African island beauty. Decorated with a hue of creams, browns, and slight blues, the chalets reflect luxury and essential comfort. You can drift into a slumber listening to the lap of waves and the breath of trade winds in the palms.

Pestana Bazaruto Lodge

Pestana Bazaruto Lodge hotel in Mozambique is situated in a bay on the north side of the island, approximately 600 km to the north of Maputo.
