This 2 week trip combines a typical Cape Town and Garden Route trip with a 3 night safari at the end. Flying into the mother city Cape Town, enjoy the sights of the city and its surrounds before moving on to the Winelands to sample the world famous food and wine. From here it is time to bask in the sun in Hermanus, famous for its sightings of whales in season. It is then an approximately 4 hour drive to the world famous Garden Route and your base in the scenic town of Knysna. It is then a further 3 hour's drive to the Eastern Cape safari region and to the Big Five Game Reserve, Amakhala which is within easy distance of Port Elizabeth Airport for onward journeys. Accommodation throughout is in affordable 4 star guesthouses and lodges.
