This 2 week trip combines a typical Cape Town and Garden Route trip with a 3 night safari at the end. Flying into the mother city Cape Town, enjoy the sights of the city and its surrounds before moving on to the Winelands to sample the world famous food and wine. From here it is time to bask in the sun in Hermanus, famous for its sightings of whales in season. It is then an approximately 4 hour drive to the world famous Garden Route with your base being Plettenberg Bay, host to some of the best beaches in the country. It is then a further 3 hour's drive to the Eastern Cape safari region and to the well known Big Five Game Reserve, Shamwari which is within easy distance of Port Elizabeth Airport for onward journeys.
