River Camp
The incredible Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders),
is one of Africa's most famous and stunning sights. It can be seen from both the
Zambian and the Zimbabwean side of the border. As well as the natural wonder of
the falls, the whole area has become a bit of a playground. You can easily spend
your time simply gazing at the waterfall, but you can also take part in many activities.
The 'Flight of the Angels' is a short flight over the falls in a light plane, helicopter
or microlight. You can also go whitewater rafting or canoeing down the Zambezi,
or bungey-jumping over the river if you are feeling particularly fearless.
