- On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will connect your flight to Maun in Botswana. Here you will catch a light aircraft flight to either the Makgadikgadi Pans or the Kalahari depending on the lodge of your choice.

Renowned for its lush waterways and abundant wildlife, the Okavango is home to a number of aquatic and land species. Predators from the adjacent Moremi, renowned for its wildlife sightings, often cross into the Sandibe concession. Spend the next 3 days participating in the activities on offer at the camp from mokoro trips, twice daily game drives and walking.

- Day 6:
After you leisurely morning’s activities you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your short light aircraft flight to Maun Airport. From here you will fly to Johannesburg where you will overnight in an airport hotel.

- Day 7 – 12:
Today you will make your way back to Johannesburg Airport where you will catch a flight to Vilanculos in Mozambique and a light aircraft flight to Benguerra Island.
Benguerra is the second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago. It is famous for its unspoiled white beaches, remarkable dive sites and excellent fishing (subject to a strict “catch & release” policy). Some of the best scuba diving and snorkelling in the world is available off Benguerra’s shores with the surrounding coral reefs rich in sea life. The archipelago is one of the last remaining habitats of the endangered Dugong. Inland, Benguerra Island comprises forest, savannah, freshwater lakes and wetland eco-systems that sustain a diverse population of fauna and flora. Fresh water crocodiles can be found in the three lakes, bearing testimony to the island’s mainland past. The island, which is home to approximately 140 bird species, was declared a National Park in 1971.
Spend the next few days involved in one of the many activities on offer at the lodge including dhow cruises, fishing, diving and snorkelling, island walks, sea kayaking, castaway picnics, land rover trips, bird watching, village visits, sea kayaking, yacht trips and horse riding day trips. Following your activities you can treat yourself to a massage in the small spa.
