Honeymoon to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mauritius during September 2011

Amazing. lovliest place i've ever been. specially after coming from victoria falls hotel; arriving in muchenje felt like entering paradise. the couple running it were great, we totally felt at home. they served us lunch, explained us the activities, ... we loved it there. the ambience, the food, it really felt like we were at an african 'home'. also the drivers were great, and they were very attentive to details. they were always arranging groups so taht we'd go with another honeymoon couple, which was very nice. i can't say anything negative about muchenje. i just hope i can go there again some day!

Honeymoon to Botswana, Zambia, South Africa and Mauritius during September 2010

The Muchenje Safari Lodge was perfect for us. Great views, really felt like you were away from the world, plenty on offer to fill your days, perfect for a 2-3 day stay. Would definitely rate the full day safari drive with the afternoon boat trip! The accomodation suited us, as it was private and felt secluded yet sociable enough for dinner. Perfect numbers and very affordable when you compare it to other more secluded safari lodges.

Holiday to Botswana during February 2011

Botswana Review

All I really know about Botswana is the camps I stayed in and the bush apart from a brief visit to Maun which can probably best be described as a "frontier" town but it seemed to me to be clean and orderly
