Lebala Camp

Lebala Camp is situated in the private Kwando concession area, 30 kilometres to the south of its sister camp, Lagoon Camp and fronts onto the Linyanti Wetlands. Lebala means 'wide open spaces' in Setswana and the scenery is dominated by vast plains with scattered palms and tree clumps backed by wooded savannas. Excellent general game abounds on the broad plains, adorned with herds of plains game and the ever-attendant predators. Lebala offers regular and reliable sightings of elephant, lion, wild dog, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, tsessebe, kudu, lechwe, impala, wildebeest and waterbuck in stunning settings.

Location

Lebala is an approximately 45 minute flight from Maun and 50 minute flight to Kasane. The camp is a short drive from the airstrip.

Botswana Review

Wonderful safari, we saw more than I ever anticipated. I'm glad it's quality and not quantity in Botswana, we only ever encountered a few other safari vehicles per day.
