Susuwe Island Lodge, Botswana

Gregory Fox

Susuwe Island Lodge offers some of the best accommodation in the region. A particular highlight of staying at Susuwe in July and August is gathering of hundreds of elephants around horseshoe bend in a stunning display of African wildlife. There is nothing better than sitting on your own private deck, plunge pool in front of you, overlooking the Kwando River. Pure bliss!

Holiday to Botswana during February 2011

Botswana Review

All I really know about Botswana is the camps I stayed in and the bush apart from a brief visit to Maun which can probably best be described as a "frontier" town but it seemed to me to be clean and orderly
