Little Kwara Camp

Gregory Fox

This small, intimate lodge offers superb accommodation with excellent service. The guiding is exceptional and having a tracker makes a huge difference to your game viewing experience with very little going unnoticed. The Kwara concession has a wide variety of habitat and the game viewing is excellent all year round. This is a great camp for honeymooners and those wanting an intimate experience in Botswana or for groups who want the privacy of a whole camp to themselves.

Little Kwara Camp is situated in a tree'd island on the edge of the permanent waters of the world renowned Okavango Delta in Botswana. The concession shares a common boundary with Moremi Game Reserve. The spectacular scenery with scattered herds of plains game and the ever-attendant predators helps to enhance your safari. Due to the labyrinth of waterways, islands, seasonal flood plains and bush, Little Kwara is always interesting and varied. This camp is an intimate four-tent camp completely separate from its sister property Kwara Camp. This is an ideal camp for exclusive use by small groups and families.

Location

Little Kwara is an approximately 45 minute flight from Maun and 50 minute flight from Kasane. The camp is a short drive from the airstrip.

Holiday to Botswana during February 2011

Botswana Review

All I really know about Botswana is the camps I stayed in and the bush apart from a brief visit to Maun which can probably best be described as a "frontier" town but it seemed to me to be clean and orderly
