Little Vumbura Camp

This is one on my favourite camps in the Okavango. The location, the game viewing and water activities are all spectacular. I will never forget game viewing from my mokoro and stopping for a coffee/tea break in a remote island in the middle of the Delta. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

Little Vumbura Camp is a small camp hidden on a pretty island surrounded by the floodplains and deep, clear channels for which the Okavango is famed. It is situated on an island in a private concession in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta, in the same region as its sister camp, Vumbura Plains. Game viewing is consistently good all year round with lion, leopard, elephant, sable and buffalo along with extensive plains game providing an excellent all-round wildlife experience in this remote corner of the Delta. Birding is good all year round.

Botswana Review

All I really know about Botswana is the camps I stayed in and the bush apart from a brief visit to Maun which can probably best be described as a "frontier" town but it seemed to me to be clean and orderly
