Villa Okavango


Villa Okavango is a luxurious private home in the heart of the Okavango wetland wilderness. This is the place to escape our modern world yet still enjoy all the Delta has to offer in secluded splendour. Villa Okavango has been designed to offer a family or a maximum of two couples the experience of enjoying a luxurious home in a wilderness setting. The villa is set amid a grove of ancient trees, and an elevated teak deck houses the spacious living area best described as Afro-Bedouin - spacious and airy. Plains game is abundant in the area, from giraffe, zebra, elephant, impala, tsessebe and lechwe to wildebeest, buffalo and warthog. There is an abundance of bird life found in the area and with over 380 species found in the region.

Location

Villa Okavango is an approximately 30 minute flight from Maun and 1 hr 30 flight to Kasane. The camp is a short drive from the airstrip.

Villa Okavango offers 1 large suite consisting of 1 x twin bedded room & 1 x double bedded room. This suite accommodates 4 guests max (ideal for a family) and is located 5 minutes from Abu Camp across the lagoon.

Holiday to Botswana and Zimbabwe during May 2011

Botswana Review

Loved Botswana. Its a country that really seems to have its act together. They have made conscious decisions to maintain their environment and from our little exposure it seems that the government has been able to avoid much of the corruption and inefficiencies of many other African countries.
