Chobe National Park, Linyanti and Savute, Okavango Delta

The climate in Chobe national park, Linyanti and Savute, and Okavango Delta is dry in the cooler months with quite a low humidity, with Daytime temperatures reaching a maximum of around 32^oC

Kalahari Desert, Makgadikgadi nxai pans

In summer, the temperature in the Kalahari Desert and Makgadikgadi reach a staggering 40 degrees Celsius and higher. Tropical thunder storms hit between December and April, unleashing massive amount of rain in a short time causing the desert to transform into green oasis. In the winter months (June to august) the day temperature dips to deliver a more pleasant climate (around 25 degrees) but the nights are severely cold

During the summer months of October to March, temperatures range from around 20^oC at night to mid 30's during the day. Winter, which falls from April through to September is moderate, with temperatures ranging from 10^oC in the morning to mid 20's during the day.

Botswana Review

Loved Botswana. Its a country that really seems to have its act together. They have made conscious decisions to maintain their environment and from our little exposure it seems that the government has been able to avoid much of the corruption and inefficiencies of many other African countries.
