Botswana & Seychelles Twin Centre
Honeymoon - 14 nights

The following sample honeymoon itinerary includes a 4 night fly in safari in Botswana followed by a week on the beach in a luxury resort in the Seychelles. The safari portion takes in the magnificent Okavango Delta – one of the best game viewing areas in Africa.

The trip INCLUDES international flights: London Heathrow - South Africa - Botswana - Seychelles - London Heathrow.

In many cases Mauritius can work out cheaper than the Seychelles so we can easily combine the Botswana portion with a resort in Mauritius.

Other combination options include Cape Town or Mozambique. This trip can very easily be tailored to better suit your own personal requirements, simply chat to one of Mahlatini’s travel experts who will best advise you of your options.

Day 1:
Depart on your international flight from London Heathrow to Johannesburg in South Africa.
Day 2 & 3:
On arrival you will connect with a flight to Maun in Botswana. Here you will catch a light aircraft flight to Pom Pom Camp. The Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience.
The Okavango Delta is one of the last remaining unspoiled wilderness areas of Africa. The Delta is fed by the floodwaters of Central Africa and covers an area of some 16000 square kilometers. These waters fan out into the Okavango Delta forming a wetland system of beautiful palm-fringed channels, lagoons and islands that support a wealth of fauna and flora alike.
Activities on offer from the camp include game drives, mokoro trips (dug out canoes), guided walks and fishing.
Day 4 & 5:
Today you will be transferred by light aircraft to a separate area of the Okavango Delta to Moremi Crossing Camp.
Moremi Crossing is a camp built on a palm fringed island surrounded by the Moremi's game-rich seasonal floodplains and overlooking Chief's Island. Moremi Crossing will be a new style safari camp combining luxury with simplicity. This is a 100% eco-friendly development featuring the latest in solar and waste disposal technology. The camp offers a personalized wildlife experience through the provision of high quality guiding services and new custom made boats. Activities on offer are half or full day Mokoro Trips with Game Walks, Island Camping and Sunset Motorboat Cruises.
Day 6:
Today you will be flown back to Maun Airport where you will catch an Air Botswana flight to Johannesburg. At around midnight you will catch an overnight flight to the Seychelles.
