Day 1:

Catch your evening flight from London Heathrow to Cape Town.

Day 2 - 5:

This morning you will arrive in Cape Town or the mother city as it is known. Pick up your hire car and drive into the city only a short distance away. The next four days can be spent exploring Cape Town. There are many different places to visit including Table Mountain, Robben Island, Bokaap or the V&A Waterfront. With the freedom of having a hire car you could take a scenic drive down the Cape Peninsula towards Cape Point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans are said to meet. Stop off at Boulders beach along the way to watch the Jackass Penguin Colony or visit Simonstown. Alternatively you can head to one of the nearby beaches of Clifton or Camps Bay. A great touch for your honeymoon is to head out on the water and enjoy sundowners with your partner to celebrate your new life together. There is something in Cape Town for everyone and you will find there is always something happening whenever you choose to visit.

Day 6 & 7:

Today you will drive to Cape Winelands region. The accommodation we have suggested is based in Stellenbosch, which is approximately an hour’s drive away from Cape Town. One of the highlights of the Winelands is obviously visiting some of the finest wine estates in South Africa. On top of that you can explore the very beautiful and historic town of Stellenbosch and enjoy some of the great restaurants on offer here. To treat yourselves we recommend a romantic picnic at Boschendal Wine Estate enjoying the grounds often heralded as South Africa’s most beautiful wine farm. For lunch we would recommend at Lanzerac Manor and dinner at the African style Moyo Restaurant at the Spier Wine Estate.

Day 8 - 14:

This morning you will drive back to Cape Town and catch your flight to Johannesburg and your connection to Mauritius (Direct flights from Cape Town to Mauritius can be arranged schedule permitting, please enquire). On arrival in Mauritius you will be met at the airport by your driver and privately transferred to your hotel. Spend your next seven days partaking in the wide variety of free non-motorised watersports offered by the resort or exploring the island. Mauritius is a compact piece of paradise, where you can just as easily spend your time relaxing on the stunning beaches or visiting places like Port Louis, Pamplemousses botanical gardens, Chamarel Seven Coloured Earths or the Casela Yemen Nature Park. For those feeling a little less energetic you can take in a romantic duo treatment together at the hotel spa or enjoy a meal at one of the fine restaurants. As it is your honeymoon your hotel will make sure that it is special for you with complimentary extras offered like romantic candlelight meals and flowers in your room. All of the properties we have suggested have a great romantic atmosphere, the perfect place to relax together.
