Day 1:

You will embark the ship at Baltra, Galapagos Islands. Baltra served as a US military base during WW2, protecting the Panama Canal from enemy attack. Nowadays, the island is home to the region’s main airport and is the beginning of your incredible adventure. You will sail from Baltra to Daphne Island, which is one of the most accessible of the Islands, visited regularly by cruise ships and tour boats. However, with the National Park Service allowing only 12 people on the island at any one time, your chances of setting foot on Daphne are very slim!

Day 2:

Today you will arrive at Puerto Egas which will afford a great opportunity to see shore birds and Galapagos Fur Seals. You will then travel to Rabida Island, which just five square kilometres is home to the large populations of Sea Lions, Pelicans and Flamingos.

Day 3:

Day 3 will see you arrive at Caleta Tagus, Isabela Island. Shaped like a giant sea horse, this is the largest of the islands and is home to more wild tortoises than all of the other islands. Continue then to Mangle Point, Fernandina Island, where flightless Cormorants reside.

Day 4:

You will arrive in the geologic wonderland that is Sullivan Bay. You can take a long early morning walk around this stunning island. Next you will visit Bartolome Island, just off the coast of Sullivan Bay. Here you will witness the famed Pinnacle Rock. This large lava formation was created when the volcano erupted & magma was expelled to the sea. Today, Pinnacle Rock has become one of the best recognized and most photographed sights of the Galapagos Islands.

Day 5:

Today you will arrive at Las Bachas, one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the islands. It is also one of the largest nesting areas for the Pacific Green sea Turtle. Your day will finish with a visit to North Seymour, a fantastically well renowned dive site.

Day 6:

Arrive in Puerto Baquerizo Morena, the administrative capital of the Islands. Why not do a little shopping or take a walk and take in some of the amazing scenery and vistas. Your afternoon will be spent exploring the stunning landscape of Cerro Brujo and the geologic landscape of Kicker Rock.

Day 7:

Your penultimate day will be spent on the awesome Puerto Ayora, home to the Charles Darwin Research Station and the national Park Service Tortoise breeding centre. You will have the opportunity to observe the giant tortoise in the wild and have some free time to spend at leisure.

Day 8:

Today you will arrive back to Baltra, where you will disembark the ship.
