Day 1- 18:
Embark the Silver Wind in Cape Town, South Africa where your 18 night cruise will commence

You will arrive at the stunning Island of Gran Canaria and disembark the Silver Whisper for onward connections and destinations.

Day 1

Embark the Silver Wind in Cape Town, South Africa where you will set sail before sunset, providing you with sensational views of the City as dusk sets in.

Day 2

Today will be your first full day on board the ship providing you with the opportunity to spend the day discovering all that this alluring ship has to offer.

Day 3

Awaken early morning to the views of the south-west coast of Namibia and disembark at Luderitz for a morningn of history and culture. One of the main attractions at Luderitz is Kolmanskop Ghost Town, previously a growing diamond town, the architecture now battles against the Namibina Sand Dunes.

Day 4

This morning you will arrive at the city of Walvis bay, well known for attracting whales into the harbours deep waters, this city provides many attractions including Bird Island. For those who have a more adventurous nature you may wish to make the trip to Dune 7 for activities such as sand boarding and quad biking before setting sail again mid-afternoon.

Day 5 - 8

Leaving the shores of Namibia the ship will move north towards your next destination. The following four days on board the ship may be filled with activities of your choice, the ships crew will attend all of your needs and provide a wide range of programmes. You may wish to fill your days with enrichment programmes, brush up on your table tennis techniques or simply daydream on deck (one of the most popular pastimes).

Day 9

Arrive in Takoradi a growing port on the southern coast of Ghana. You may spend the day exploring the city or perhaps visit Monkey Hill, set in the heart of the twin city this tropical forest is inhabited by monkeys.

Day 10 - 12

As the Luxurious Silver Wind sets sail towards Senegal you will have a further 3 days at sea. Take advantage of the ships many restaurants and entertainment highlights on the magical evenings and find out more about the places you will visit in the latter end of your cruise.

Day 13

Today you will spend a full day on the coast of Senegal with the ship docking in Dakar, it's largest city. At this time of year the climate is pleasant making it much more comfortable to take in the local sights. The city itself boasts a spectacular ambience and a wealth of culture waiting to be discovered. Visit the IFAN Museum or find out more about the cities history with a trip to Maison des Esclaves.

Day 14

Today you will set sail towards the islands of Cape Verde, life on board the ship continues with excercise classes in the fitness centre, casino gaming lessons, culinary demonstrations and wine tastings.

Day 15

Arrive at Praia, Cape Verde early this morning and take the opportunity to disembark the Silver Wind and find out more about these beautiful Islands. Praia as the capital of Cape Verde offers a range of cultural sights such as Albuquerque square and local markets.

Day 16

After a night of sailing north you will dock in Porto Novo for the day, this will be your last stop before finally disembarking the Silver Wind in the Canaries. Porto Novo is situated in the north of the Cape Verde islands and gives way to some of the most spectacular vistas in the world.

Day 17 & 18

The next two days will be your last on board the ship, take time to relax and soak up the comforts of the ship as it sails between Cape Verde and the Canaries.

Day 19

You will disembark the ship this morning on the beautiful island of Gran Canria for onward connections.
