Can I arrange my own insurance?
Yes you can. Many high street and credit card insurance policies only offer limited cover and we strongly advise you check that the policy is suitable for your trip.

Are there any surcharges?
We do reserve the right to surcharge in the case of dramatic foreign exchange fluctuations, or for price increases beyond our control. For example an increase in national park charges is beyond our control and would be forced to pass on these charges.

Sometimes. This is dependent on your nationality and your chosen destination. Your consultant will be able to advise. If it is necessary for you to obtain a visa prior to travel we recommend that you contact the consular division of the appropriate embassy or you can use a professional visa service such as www.travcour.com

How far in advance do I need to book?
It really depends on what you want to see and your preferred style of holiday. Some of the most popular camps and hotels need to be booked a year in advance, and this is definitely the case with Cape Town at Christmas. We generally recommend that you start planning your trip 6-8 months in advance but we can take bookings up to 7 days before travel.
