Holiday Reviews
The whole holiday surpassed our expectations!
Zambesi Sun hotel was clean and friendly. Surreal to wake up to zebra grazing infront of our window!
Selinda camp was fantastic. Great food, beautiful accomodation and very professional staff who worked hard to meet our every need delivering 'hunting with lions' and an actual 'lion kill'.
Xegira, a true water camp.Very peaceful and a slower pace than the game drives of Selinda.Even the local elephants found the camp restful, choosing to sleep right next to our tent one night!
Thank you Mahlatini for a wonderful African holiday.

We had an incredible honeymoon, which even exceeded our expectations. During the safari we were amazed to see so many animals within touching distance (although we're not that silly!). Both the service and food at the lodge were excellent, with a friendly touch.
We continued to experience fantastic food at our hotel in Mauritius and loved the extras from the all inclusive such as the spa treatment and watersports.

We had a great time overall. Particular highlights were walking through Stellenbosch, hiking in nearby mountains. Cape Town is amazing.

The highlight was definitely the safari at Simbambili Lodge. The food was great, the service was brilliant and the attention to detail was very much appreciated. Our game driver was fantastic and made the game drives really interesting. We saw the big five in the first two days.

Everything you had planned for us was amazing, the highlight for us was the safari in Thronybush and the Serondella resort was beautiful. The game drives were brilliant and delighted we go to see the big five. The lodges were outstanding. All in all though the rest of our honeymoon was equally as enjoable.

This was definitely a holiday to remember! Mahlatini pulled out all the stops, from the excellent choice of venues, to their very efficient and friendly service, they ensured that we didn't have to think of anything! Everything went like clockwork -- we were completely spoiled from the moment we arrived in Windhoek. That's what I call a holiday! Thank you, Mahlatini! We could never have done it without you!

There are really too many to mention in the short time we were away. It was a brilliant trip and made allt he better for having someone who knew the country and could guide us towards the right activites and places. Off the top of my head, highlights were cage diving with sharks, hiking the Lion's Head, dinner in Camp's Bay, abseiling off Table Mountain, sea kayaking in Plett (right next to a Cape Fur Seal colony!) and of course the safari (getting to see so many animals up close & personal).

Really enjoyed the Victoria Falls they live up to expectation.

This was another well organised Trip prepared by Mahlatini. We had no hitches of any sort, and all was plain sailing. Thank you to Mahlatini of rtheir good groundwork on our behalf.
Last time we visited in Novemeber when the flowers were spectacular - this time it was late Summer/early Autumn -a duller time of year to visit South Africa from the point of view of for example Kirstenboch Gardens.

We had the most incredible honeymoon and couldn't be happier with the servie Adam provided. Birkenhead House in Hermanus was the most magical place and our safari was amazing. Thank you so much for planning such an unforgettable experience for us

Hi Nikki. Everything ran very smoothly and we had a brilliant holiday. 10 days was not nearly enough and only allowed us to scratch the surface. We will definitely be going back to South Africa in the future. The highlight of the trip was the safari. It was absolutely stunning getting so close to wild animals. The staff at the game reserve were brilliant as was the food and service. The ranger, Graeme, was first class. His knowledge of the wildlife really added to the experience.

Seeing the falls was amazing and the microlight flight for an ariel view was definitely worth the money. The Royal Livingstone was lovely, we even got offered clean tea cups with our second cup of tea! The Simbambili lodge was similalry lovely, with a beautiful balcony with private plunge pool and some of the nicest food on the trip. They made special arrangements for me being vegetarian and nothing was too much trouble ( and of course great game viewing!)

Stellenbosch wine tours
Kuala desert lodge(sossusvlei was amazing)

Very well planned trip. All transfers on time and great service.
The only change I would have made (which is a minor one) is that there are 2 airports in Kruger - one was a half hour transfer to our lodge and the other a 2 hour transfer. It would have been nice to fly into the closer airport.
Other than that really can't fault the trip - it was everything we had hoped for and more and we would thoroughly recommend all of the places we stayed aswell as Mahlatini.

We had an amazing holiday, everything was well organized. I don't think we will ever travel with another travel agent. Thank you Claire for assisting us at all times.

We enjoyed an incredible 4 nights at Amakhala game reserve where we lived in absolute luxury with people looking after our every need for a fraction of the cost of neighbouring game reserves. All the staff were so welcoming and our highlight was seeing not one, but two cheetah kills thanks to our incredible guide Elias.

The best holiday of our lives, without doubt! Amazing accommodation recommendations, we really felt that our priorities for a good holiday were listened to and you knew exactly what we were after and delivered it. I remember Greg telling me to trust him on some of his recommendations and we are so glad we did. the whole thing was a highlight, every day was amazing. Thankyou!

The holiday was excellent with the exception of Dugong Lodge which was very poor - although the location was good.
The highlights were the other places we visited being River Club and Simbambili. I would like to return to both places.
The overall rating of good is misleading because 2 of the places were excellent and one quite appalling.

The trip was really amazing, the best part of it was for sure the Safari.
The lodge recommended by Claire (Mahaltini) couldn´t be more perfect and as a first time in a Safari I can say that it was one the most interesting travel experiences I ever had.

The game drives were fantastic. Nearly every time we saw one of the big five - and much more. I really felt taken care off in a wonderfull way at the Lodge. The driver was very pleasant and incredible knowledgeable in all aspects wether it was animals, birds, plants or the stars on the night sky.

Everything was brilliant, I'm not sure I could pick a highlight! If i had to i'd say...
Waking up to monkeys on our balcony on safari
Watching the sun set from a dhow in Benguerra
Going up Table Mountain in Cape Town
Having lunch at La Petite Ferme in Franschhoek

Fantastic Honeymoon to South Afria and Abu Dhabi. Superbly organised and with different options depending on what I could afford so it really allowed me to see if something was worth the extra money.

The game drives at the Safari Lodge were the highlights of the trip. Our ranger, Christo, was informative, filled with good humor and enthusiasm, and made sure we saw all the animals on our bucket list. Our butler, Sienne, showed us exceptional care and service. The facilities were comfortable, well-appointed, and the food was quite good and accommodated our vegetarian requirements. It was a great experience overall.

Highlights: Dealing with Claire Picknell who was superb in her advice and recommendations. Staying in Kichwa Tembo safari in Kenya was amazing and Zanzibar was spectacular.

Our recent holiday in South Africa really was the holiday of a lifetime for us. there were lots of highlights from each of the places we visited, including a range of different and wonderful sights and experiences in and around Capetown, our visit to Franschhoek and its lovely vineyards and our time in Hermanus, where we saw whales at close quarters.
However the real highlight was the safari part of our trip, which was way way beyond our expectations and where we saw the most amazing number of wild animals of all varieties. We saw the Big 5 of course, but we saw so much more and the experience with our tracker and guide was incredible.

The safari was amazing! We also really enjoyed Camps Bay, Stellanbosch and Hermanus. We had a little problem in Hermanus regarding accomodation but Mahlatini had it sorted in 20 mins via a phone call. That was excellent service.

All the hotels were amazing! South Africa was really easy to drive in despite never using the "British-style driving". We loved almost every restaurant we ate at and all recommendations from hotel staff were spot on with our style. Above all we loved the nature South Africa had to offer.

The stay at Toka Leya was magical, the staff were fantastically attentive yet relaxed with it. Vic Falls is simply breathtaking.
Kwando Lagoon was brilliant too - the situation of the camp alongside one of the Kwando River channels with the rooms overlooking it was brilliant. We fell asleep one night to the sound of two hippos munching on the grass below our room. The highlight absolutely though was seeing a pack of wild dogs with nine puppies - one of those very special life moments !!

From the first visit to the office in Belfast we knew we had made the right choice in selecting Mahlatini. The professionalism and attention to detail was something I very rarely see in service organisations today. The choice of places to visit was fantastic and really provided the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

From the moment we stepped into the Mahlatini office, we were more than impressed with the levels of service. It was the great to see that the same level of fantastic service transcended to all destinations we visited on our trip. Not only were the locations ideal, we were made to feel very special wherever we went. We cannot recommend the experience Mahlatini gave us strongly enough!

Franchoek - hotel room was wonderfull, staff friendly and attentive. Evening meal a little disappointing, if only because we had eaten so extremely well in other places, specifically La Motte.
Hermanus - just lovely, brilliant location and lovely hotel with great staff and sea food restaurant
Cape Town - just could not have been more helpful in the hotel - a real little gem
Thank you for your recommendations, your advice and recommendations were excellent.

Highlights: Reaching the Mt Kilimanjaros crater rim having been slogging up the slope (pole pole)towards it in the dark and cold for about 7.5 hours short of breath but there!- and thanks to the guide who got us there.
Drinking kilimanjaro tea up kilimanjaro and it being good tea even over 4600m. Seeing the coffee beans growing in the fields and our guide explaining all about it.
Handling animal fossils (spine and knee) in the oldivai gorge.
Seeing three leopards, seeing 5 cheetah in one day(as two and three - the latter finishing a kill). Seeing that the black lump our guide said was a rhino get up and move and through the binos see it too!
Watching the picnic area in the serengeti clear in a second when an elephant and calf decided to wander through!
Watching the silent columns of wildebeast wander past over about 30 mins - like a silent army of soldiers going to the front - curious and wonderful to see
ngorangora crater
the balloon ride and the alfresco breakfast - the whole experience
the luxurious hotels - far more beautiful than we have ever experienced before - locations, food and comfort

The locale of the Zambezi sun was unbeatable, just great.
Obviously the Falls were a highlight!
The lunch on Livingstone Island was brilliant and swimming in the devils pool was fun.
The game drives at Chobe were excellent - special mention to Stanley who was first class.

Safari guide was extremely knowledgeable and found us some of the most elusive species. His tracking skills were amazing and we were often the only vehicle in the vicinity of the animals. My highlight was seeing African wild dogs twice once in a pack with 5 adults and 7 adolescents and the second occasion was a dog being chased by two lionesses.

The highlights were shark diving and staying at Lairds Lodge.

Good quality service and support provided.
Zanzibar is an amazing place to stay and Z Hotel was a fantastic place to stay.

The game lodge we stayed in (Serondella) was fantastic - the couple running it are very hospitable and good fun.
The hotel on Mauritius was also excellent, although the Mauritours rep was quite difficult to deal with.

So many highlights, visiting the beautiful winelands in cape town, the view from the top of table mountain, we could see for miles.
Seeing 3 month old leopards on safari. Eating our fantasic evening meals round the pit fire in Thornybush. On the last night we had dinner on our veranda, the staff had lit lots of tealights and petals on the bed and in the bathroom and left a bottle of champagne - very romantic.
Relaxing on a stunning beach in Mauritius and swimming in the crystal clear warm water.
Not having to worry about transfers and having the trip planned for us to perfection. Completely stress free, which was a welcome relief after planning a wedding.

We sincerely loved every minute of our honeymoon…it would be just impossible to choose what were the highlights because everything was simply amazing…First we loved travelling around south-africa on our own with the rented car; we really enjoyed the gastronomy in cape town, going up table mountain, the road trip down to cape of good hope, the days we spent doing wine-tasting in the winelands, hermanus, would be difficult to pick one…those were really memorable days. Then we also enjoyed big time our stay in Botswana; the two lodges we stayed in were great and we had never been in safari before so we were basically stunned the whole time by everything we saw…we specially loved the first one, Muchenje, the people running the lodge were really lovely and the athmosphere was great. we also loved banoka, since the place is just beautiful, but the whole service (food, staff attention, etc) was much worse than in Muchenje. (the organization and leadership of the camp was quite poor). But we still enjoyed it a lot. And finally Mauritious. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for (so not a big 5 star hotel but more a small-boutique type of hotel). So all in all, great great honeymoon organized by mahlatini.

Dear Greg,
We had the most amazing honeymoon to Cape Town and Mauritius!
Ariving in Cape Town for 4 nights one of the highlights was the service in the Mount Nelson where we were upgraded to a suite in the main building overlooking the gardens. The hotel met us with a glass of champagne at reception and another bottle in the room with a fruit platter. The food and facilities were all fantastic and the concierge service was excellent. It was also my wife's birthday whilst we were there and the hotel arranged another complimentary bottle of wine and a birthday cake. We would both thouroughly recommend the Mount Nelson as a wonderful place to stay and a fantastic central location to discover the city and surrounding areas. We both enjoyed dinning out in the city as well as Camps Bay and had a wonderful lunch at Tokara in Stellebosch as well as many other experiences.
The flight from Cape Town to Mauritius was straight forward and we were met my at the airport for a a private transfer to Troux Aux Biches. As it was the evening we did not really appreciate the beauty of the resort until the following morning. The hotel is sprawling along the imaculate beach but it does not feel overcrowed. The service was excellent in the 5 restaurants and the food was like fine dining every night. It was true paradise!!
We would 100% travel through Mahlatini again!!
Thanks,
miles

So so loved our stay at Serondella in South Africa. First, i'm glad we got to experience capetown and stellenbosch both before heading off for the bush because they really are 2 totally different experiences and give you a more complete picture of the country. We had a fascinating township tour and i would highly recommend that to anyone curious about how south africa evolved/is evolving. I loved being in capetown and feeling the energy there and walking around and looking at everything. the food and wine there was SO wonderful; We really enjoyed our meals out every night and the folks at the cape riveria never steered us wrong with their recommendations. I liked the waterfront area but was very glad that we'd decided to stay up the hill a little bit and out of that area. Stellenbosch was a treat after capetown in that it's SO safe whereas in capetown you HAVE to take a cab home after dark. It was nice to just be able to walk around in a university town and enjoy the young people and the comparative freedom of a small university town. Again, our restaurant recommendations at night were great! We had a wonderful wine tour with lunch and i think we all enjoyed tasting and seeing the beautiful vineyards surrounded by their beautiful mountains. serondella was my 2nd safari ever and i fell in love with it all over again: Where else can you ride around in a jeep and chase animals half the day? David (our guide) and our tracker were (in our opinion)the best of the best! They knew their animals and habits inside and out and it was easy to see how much they loved what they did because they transferred their knowledge and excitment to their guests. I'll never forget mowing down those thornybushes everywhere in pursuit of our elusive prey! We saw all of the "big 5" and then some: we saw both the white and black rhino and an episode with a cheetah family that is now on "you tube". Plus the lodge and service were small and intimate and you felt like you had a relationship with these people and not just some random guest there! Thank you for putting us in the way of all these wonderful experiences! I would love to travel to another african country with you - thank you so much!

Dont know where to start. Highlight for me was Whalewatching in Hermanus and the beach at Wilderness. My husband's highlighs were the safari at shamari and table mountain. It was non stop unreal!! From One&Only capetown and the fab room with view of table mountain, to our drive around the rugged cape, to chilling with a nice bottle of wine and wonderful food in Franschoek, to spa massage at views hotel, to lion spotting and being chased by a bull elephant in the bush. It was UNBELIEVABLE - THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The highlights would definitely be tarangire, ngorongoro crater and the Tides lodge.Lake Manyara was disappointing, also after leaving the amazing food in tides, mount meru game lodge was a bit of a shock, although it is in a beautiful setting. We had an amazing safari experience, not least because of our very knowledgable safari guide Edward.Edward loved wildlife and really went out of his way to make our safari a great experience. We loved Tarangire River Camp, brilliant location and pretty good food.Kirurumu was great too although our stay here was brief, likewise with ngorongoro farm house.Arriving at Tides was just perfect after a busy safari, barefoot paradise with amazing food, just bliss.

Bateleur Camp was absolutely out of this world - we would recommend it to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever and have done so already. The knowledge and friendliness of the staff, combined with the luxury of the accomodation, set us off to an excellent start with our honeymoon.

Excellent hotels. Especially the Last word Franschoek and the One and only Cape Town. Absolutely superb service, rooms and food.
Franschoek was a beautiful area and visiting the vineyards was a fantastic day out.
Both my wife and I agree that the highlight of our holiday was the 3 days spent on Safari in Kruger National park. Accommodation was great, good food and excellent service. Jocks Safari is excellent. Our park ranger was top class and the safari drives were simply out of this world. It was just simply stunning for both of us.

We loved the quality of the accommodation and professionalism of the logistical aspects of our trip from flights to airport pick ups and car hire. All top class.

Highlights of the honeymoon were South Africa - accomodation in Cape Town was very good, and Safari location recommended was amazing and even though was not a big Kruger style park, perfect for the experience we had said we wanted, and we got more than asked for or anticipated.

Mahlatini helped us plan the perfect honeymoon. It was just the right combination of adventure and relaxation and at each of the location there was a special 'extra' for us honeymooners which really added to the experience. My husband got sick 3 days before we were scheduled to leave and Mahlatini was very accommodating in postponing our trip without compromising on any of the details. All in all, a trip I would not only recommend to my friends and family, but would love to repeat someday!

We travelled from London to Cape Town and stayed 4 nights in four Rosemead (recommended by Mahlatini) then 2 nights in Stellenbosch staying in the River Manor (recommended by Mahlatini) then jumped on a flight to Mauritius and stayed a week in the Belle Mare Plage hotel. I am sorry to say that I can't pick a highlight as the whole time was amazing, Mahlatini was instrumental in me picking the right places and I can't thank them enough for their advice. Honeymoons are ment to be special and this was very special. Four Rosemead is excellent, beautiful rooms, amazing staff (the best staff in a guest house/hotel I have ever met) super breakfast and stunning art all over the house for you to enjoy and buy. River Manor is great, location is perfect, we were upgraded due to honeymoon, the atmosphere at this place is just right. We had many convercations with other guests and sat for breakfast with others, it felt very homly (well if you lived in a big beautiful house in one of the most beautiful small towns in the world) breakfast was extensive, anything you wanted was not too much trouble. Great wine tour, we loved this place. Belle Mare Plage is as you would expect of a 5 star deluxe hotel in the Indian ocean, beautiful, helpful, peaceful, luxurious and expensive. That was the big difference between CT and Mauritius, CT everything was well priced and everyone wanted to help, Mauritius everyone wanted to help because it was expensive (20pound for a bagel ). Mahlatini, I thank you for a holiday of a lifetime and if I am honest I looked at doing all this myself (to try and save money) and I could not get close to your price. My new wife thinks it was amazing and also thinks I am amazing but I am sure that will fade over the years to come.

Sadly Kenya Airways were not as accomplished with their customer service. Having said that Claire and Mahlatini have been excellent in contacting the airline and pushing our refund through. I just hope Kenya Airways took note on how customer service should be applied.

Simbambili was superb. The staff, accommodation and the animals. It was very special. Dinah had some of the best vegetarian food she has ever had when she has travelled. It was as though I was the exception and not her. We cant rate it highly enough.
The Pavillions on Mauritius was also excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire honeymoon. We spent time on safari in Kenya staying at Kichwa Tembo safari resort. It was an amazing place to stay. There was so much food and the service was excellent. We were well looked after with our own room stewart and waiter. The accomdation itself was of a very high standard and the game drives were all excellent. We managed to see the big 5 on our 1st day. The highlight of our time in Keya was probably the Hot Air Balloon Safari we did. The balloon safari was spectacular and was followed by a champagne breakfast amongst the animals. This was recommended to us by Claire in Mahlatini. We were so glad we decided to do it and it was well worth the money.
We then went to Mauritus, satying at the Heritage Hotel. Again I cannot fault this hotel. It was maagnificint and again the standard or service was excellent and there was copious amounts of food and drink available, I would highly recommend going all inclusive in Mauritius.
Overall we had a fantastic time and the team at Mahlantini especially Claire were all really helpful with their recommendations and ensuring that we had a honeymoon we would never forget.

The Safari recommended was fantastic as was Le Prince Maurice hotel- top class hotel and would recommend to anyone for honeymood or other holiday. The Tamarina hotel was ok but it was in the middle of a building site and the service was not great. It had the feeling of a hotel in low season without much going on and we didnt really feel we were treated as a honeymoon couple in this hotel. The golf was good.

Our mobile, tented Botswana safari was one of the best travel adventures we've ever experienced. Lots of big animals, of course, and we could rave about the guide and service, but the most surprising part of the trip was the birding. We are not "birders," but we've done a little on other trips and told Joe, our guide, that we'd like to see some birds as well as the standard fare. He promptly laid down the challenge - we would identify 150 species before the end of our ten day trip. And for Joe just seeing a bird fly by and having him tell us what it was did not count as "identifying" it. By the end of the trip we'd counted 162!

We had a wonderful holiday in Mauritius, we stayed at Les Pavillons resort, everything was organised smoothly and professionaly. This was not our first trip with Mahlatini, and it will not be our last.

Nothing was to much trouble for Greg and his team. We explored different options and lengths of stay before coming to a decision about our final itinerary. The timetable, the accomodation and the organised tour in Zululand were impeccably arranged. We had an incorrect entry on our Barclaycard from one of the car hire firms in South Africa and Greg obtained the details for us, confirmed that our understanding was correct and arranged a refund for us. When that refund from the car hire company did not match what had been incorrectly deducted, Greg arranged a Sterling payment direct to us.

The wildlife - animals & birds - viewing and especially the huge number of elephant in Chobe National Park and seeing the Wild Dogs in Lebala were probably the highlights this time around (my second visit to Botswana). But having said that the lions, leopards and cheetahs are spectacular and the Oryx (Gemsbok) and Springbok in the Kalahari are very special too. I am not "into" birds so much but the Lilacbreasted Rollers, Fish Eagles & Owls are all so beautiful. That apart the staff at the camps are really welcoming and helpful and the Guides and Trackers knowledge of wildlife "encyclopedia - like"

This holiday was one of the best I have had with some amazing experiences. I have picked out a few highlights that will always stay with me -
1. coming face to face with gorillas after a hard 5 hour trek - and being knocked over by a particularly playful one
2. giving a piggy back ride to a 40lb chimp whilst a smaller chimp walked alongside holding my hand
3. laying in my tent listening to a lion roaring as he scavenged for food only 2 tents away
4. sitting on the verandha of my tent in the dark while hippos snorted around less than 5 feet away

It seems like an age ago now, but the memories are still crystal clear! Greg Fox at Mahlatini was a star-everything he promised us came true, from his recommendations of accommodation and itinery through to what to do and where to go. Zambia, Botswana and Mauitius were all fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon! Our flight from the UK was cancelled because of the snow in the UK at the time-but Greg miraculously re-booked for us and amongst all the chaos, Greg worked miracles to get us on the first flight out the next day!

Our time in the Bush with Kirkman's Kamp was the highlight of our trip. The staff at Kirkman's made every effort to ensure we came as close as possible to the amazing wildlife and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

I think the highlight of our holiday was staying at the Kurland Hotel at Plettenburg Bay. We had a sublime experience there. Also Mahlatini did an excellent job on the itinerary. SAfrica is a huge country but our trup took in a number of places on a steady basis which didn't include too many long drives which was good for our children. Always helpful on the phone, can't really fault Mahlatini at all. Well done. A holiday to be remembered and treasured always.

The team at Mahlatini arranged a complicated honeymoon with three different destinations. The personal knowledge that the team provided allowed us to find a safari camp in South Africa that was absolutely superb and the highlight of our trp.

My experience with Mahlatini was excellent. The team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I live in New York City and the staff made the arrangements, collected our feedback and made edits and changes seamlessly.

I loved every minute of it. I thought Capetown was amazing. The hotel we stayed at was very nice. It was called the Commodore I believe and it was located near the Waterfront. The safaris were amazing and our time in Johannesburg was also pleasurable. If I had more money and time I would be back on another trip!!

When organising the holiday the people at Mahlatini were very helpful with the information they sent in advance, gave excellent advice on places that they felt were 'just for us' after taking our brief into consideration, they upgraded us where they could and over all we had a FANTASTIC time.

Where do I start?! Each place we stayed just got better and better. We loved our safari so much that we were in tears when we left! Then we were in tears when we saw the Prince Maurice in Mauritius! The whole thing was amazing.

The best part of our honeymoon was that each & every day and experience got better & better as the honeymoon progressed. We were also thrilled to have experienced so many different aspects of Africa within such a short period of time - from the city of Capetown to the bush of Sabi Sands and to the island of Benguerra in Mozambique - all such different experiences and each one amazing in it's own way. We had the most memorable trip of our lives.

Our honeymoon was very well organised by Mahlatini; met all of our expectations, the standard of the hotels and lodges was fantastic. Loved all the countries we visited - Namibia, Zambia (Vic Falls) and Mauritius - hard to pick out a favourite as they were all great in different ways, but the riverside lodge on Ntwala Island (Caprivi Strip) and the boat safari cruises from it were a particular favourite. Would like to go back to Africa sometime and would definitely consider using Mahlatini again.

With a three day short stay in Kenya, and our first time in Africa, we left all the planning to Greg at Mahlatini Travel. Everything from travel timings, stay at Nairobi for one night, and the actual choice on the location for the safari / choice of the resort was all planned by them.
I must admit that this was one of my most memorable trips ever. The key when you go for an african safari is to see the migration. Greg was actually able to track the migration and choose the place of stay based on the Migration. Within the three short stays, we not only saw the River Crossing with thousands of Wilde Beasts and Zebras but also landed in the middle of the Migration in a Hot Air Balloon. The resort was brilliant, the service and food was incredible. All the safaris planned very private so that we could watch the animals for hours without any pressure.
Everything worked out perfectly and now we are planning a 30 people family safari experience, obviously planned by Greg again. Thank Mahlatini for this incredible experience.
