Mauritius & Kenya Holidays

Combining Mauritius & Kenya

With just a 6 hour connection between Kenya and Mauritius combining these two destinations makes for the perfect safari & beach holiday.

We find that most people wish to start their trip with a safari. In this case you would fly directly from London Heathrow on Virgin Atlantic into Nairobi. If you are only looking for a short safari we generally recommend 4 nights in the famous Masai Mara which you will fly to by light aircraft. Due to flight connections it is necessary to overnight in Nairobi before catching a morning Air Mauritius flight to Mauritius. Here we normally recommend anything from 6 or 7 nights on the island. It is then possible to fly directly back to London Heathrow on either a day or overnight flight with Air Mauritius. Virgin / Kenya Airways and Air Mauritius are currently the only 2 airline combinations that offer this triangular route.

Should you wish to spend longer in Kenya we can easily extend your safari by sending you on to another of Kenya’s incredible parks.

Please note that whilst there are flights with Virgin and Kenya Airways to Nairobi every night, there are only direct flights from Nairobi to Mauritius once or twice a week (otherwise you go via Johannesburg). Also note that Air Mauritius do not operate a daily service back to Heathrow. This means in order to take a holiday similar to this you may need to be flexible on your dates.

Honeymoon to South Africa and Mozambique during November 2011

Mozambique Review

Only saw a very small part of Mozambique but what struck me most was how friendly everyone was. Loved the fact the lodge was very community focused.
