Kenya Safari & Beach Honeymoon - 12 Nights

A fabulous combination of the Amboseli, Masai Mara and Kenyan coast makes an incredible honeymoon for newlyweds who want to experience the adventure of safari in Kenya and the relaxation of the calm coastal seas. Amboseli is home to some of the biggest elephants in Africa which can be viewed from game drives or guided walking trips. A light aircraft will then fly you across the famous plains of the Masai Mara for your stay at Mara Porini Camp in the heart of Kenya's Big Game country. After three days spent on action packed game drives and nights spent around a camp fire under the stars you will soon move on to the coast for your six night stay at the Mombasa Serena.

Day 1:
On arrival into Nairobi’s International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for the evening. Depending on the time of your arrival you may have time to explore the city and its attractions. Most recommended are the Karen Blixen Museum (author of Out of Africa), the giraffe sanctuary, Nairobi National Park, a city tour and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. We also recommend lunch or dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant where all manner of exotic meat is served roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge charcoal pit.
Day 2 & 3:
Today you will transfer by road to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli porini Camp is located in the Selenkay Conservation Area, a 15,000-acre private game reserve within a vast tract of land owned by the Kisonko clan of the Maasai people. The Conservancy is an important dispersal area for wildlife moving in and out of Amboseli and holds a wide diversity of species.
During the day, you can take game drives with one of the guides in an open 4WD vehicle or go for a guided walk with one of the expert Maasai guides. Other activities on offer include bush breakfasts, massage, sundowners and cultural visits.
Day 4 - 6:
Today you will return by road to Nairobi where you will have lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before being transferred to Wilson airport for light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is the most well known reserve in Kenya setting the scene for the Great Migration usually July – October. Over 1 million wildebeest flood the reserve after travelling north from the Serengeti in Tanzania, along with large herds of other herbivores all looking for the best grazing. Closely following the herbivores are the predators, most notably lions and hyenas. The Masai Mara is a great place for watching big cats, it is where they film the BBC Big Cat Diaries, but it also has an abundance of other wildlife and birdlife to take in during your stay. There are many activities to do during your three night stay such as bush walking, Maasai village visits, picnics and sundowners as well as the usual 4x4 game drive.
Day 7 - 12:
Today you will return by light aircraft to Nairobi for lunch at Pampa Restaurant. Following this you will transfer to the airport for flight to Mombasa. On arrival at Mombassa’s Moi Airport you will be met and transferred to the Mombasa Serena Hotel where you will spend the next 6 days. Enjoy the wide variety of watersports on offer such as deep-sea fishing, windsurfing, snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, glass bottom boat, sea-scope boards, pedalos, kayaks and local 'Ngalawa' outrigger canoes. The resort also has tennis courts, squash courts, volleyball, table tennis, a dive centre and many more facilities on offer. For those looking to relax you can enjoy long lies on the beach or by the swimming pool.
