Kicheche Laikipia Camp


Laikipia Camp is a small luxurious tented camp, nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole, in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy which affords wonderful views of Mount Kenya is 90,000 acres of wilderness and offers an incredibly uncrowded environment to enjoy quality game viewing. The Conservancy is home to Kenya's largest population of Black Rhino, large numbers of elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard and plentiful plains game. There are also a number of rarer Northern species such as Grevys Zebra, Jacksons Hartebeest and Beisa Oryx.

Location

30 minutes drive from Nanyuki airstrip. There are daily connections from Nairobi on Air Kenya and Safarilink and onward scheduled flights to Samburu, Lewa and the Masai Mara, as well as return flights to Nairobi. By road the drive from/to Nairobi takes approximately 4 hours from Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

All inclusive including selected game activities. Champagne, special wines and luxury spirits are not included.

Child Policy

Children are welcome. Children aged 3 - 11 years: 50% of adult rate for accommodation and Conservancy fees.

Families with children under 7 years will be required to take a sole use vehicle unless there are 4 or more guests in the party when they will get one anyway. Please note that our camps are not conducive to infants and no baby equipment, such as cots and high chairs, are provided.

Laikipia Camp offers 6 luxurious tents which are fully insect-proof with en-suite bathrooms equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and hot showers.
