The tents at Il Moran are beautifully appointed, in particularly the hand crafted wooden beds. With only 10 tents the camp is an intimate one perfect for honeymooners and those looking to get away from it all. The food is outstanding, and as with the other Governor's Camps the service and guiding are excellent. This camp will certainly be the highlight of your safari.

Govenor's Il Moran Camp offers total luxury in the heart of the Masai Mara. With only 10 tents you can be sure of getting a more personal and exclusive experience where you will be treated as a personal guest of the manager. Offering you 3 game drives each day allows you to experience even more of the wildlife of the Masai Mara, as well as a better chance to catch the famous river crossings during the wildebeest migration. Situated in the Masai Mara National Park the camp was reduced to its current size to maintain and conserve the area ensuring the guests have the best wildlife experience now and in the future when you want to make a return visit.

Location

Fly into the Musiara airstrip, 45 minutes flight from Nairobi and then transfer for 15 minutes to reach the camp. To road transfer from Nairobi takes about 6 hours.

Governor's IL Moran Camp offers 10 double suite tents. All tents have a large private veranda and en suite bathrooms with Victorian bath, large shower and hot and cold running water.
