Livingstonia Beach Hotel, Malawi

Situated in central Lake Malawi, formerly known as the Grand Beach Hotel, the Livingstonia Beach Hotel is the oldest established hotel on the lakeshore and is built in the old colonial style with white washed walls and spacious airy rooms. The hotel is conveniently situated close to Lilongwe (2 hour drive) or a 10 minute drive to the airstrip and then a 20 minute flight, so it is ideal for either the start of end of an itinerary depending on flight arrival and departure times. As well as being the ideal first or last destination the hotel is also well situated to form a "bridge" between the north and the south for those travelling for instance between Mvuu, Ku Chawe Inn or Club Makokola to Chintheche Inn on the Northern lakeshore and Nyika National Park.

Location

Livingstonia Beach Hotel is a 30 minute flight from Club Makokola, 35 min flight from Mvuu and 20 mins from Lilongwe. The airstrip is a 15 minute drive from the Hotel.
