Day 2 - 4:

This morning you will arrive in the city of Cape Town. Pick up your hire car and drive into the heart of the city to start you honeymoon. The next three days can be spent exploring the city. Why not visit some of the attractions such as the infamous Table Mountain, Robben Island, Bokaap or the V&A Waterfront. Take a scenic drive down the Cape Peninsula towards Cape Point to enjoy the view. At Boulders beach you can spend some time watching the Jackass Penguin Colony before returning into the city to enjoy some of the great restaurants and nightlife. If you prefer to take it easy on your honeymoon why not relax on Clifton or Camps Bay Beach.

Day 5 & 6:

Today take the approximately one hour drive to Cape Winelands region and your base in either Stellenbosch or Franschoek. Spend your time here visiting some of the finest wine estates that South Africa has to offer and to exploring the very beautiful and historic towns. To treat yourselves we recommend a picnic at Boschendal Wine Estate (needs pre-booked), lunch at Lanzerac Manor and dinner at the African style Moyo Restaurant at the Spier Wine Estate. The winelands is not just about tasting wines but also about enjoying good food. The area has some of the best restaurants that South Africa has to offer.

Day 7 - 9:

This morning you will drive back to Cape Town and catch your flight to Johannesburg and your connection to Mauritius (Direct flights from Cape Town to Mauritius can be arranged schedule permitting, please enquire). On arrival in Mauritius you will be met at the airport by your driver and privately transferred to your hotel. Spend your next seven days partaking in the wide variety of free non-motorised watersports offered by the resort or exploring the island. Mauritius is a compact piece of paradise, where you can just as easily spend your time relaxing on the stunning beaches or visiting places like Port Louis, Pamplemousses botanical gardens, Chamarel Seven Coloured Earths or the Casela Yemen Nature Park. For those feeling a little less energetic you can take in a romantic duo treatment together at the hotel spa or enjoy a meal at one of the fine restaurants. As it is your honeymoon your hotel will make sure that it is special for you with complimentary extras offered like romantic candlelight meals and flowers in your room. All of the properties we have suggested have a great romantic atmosphere, the perfect place to relax together.

Day 10 - 12:

Drive the approximately three hour drive to the Eastern Cape Safari region near Port Elizabeth. Your days on safari will start very early with a wake up call with tea or coffee, following which you will be off for your first exciting morning game drive. After breakfast spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in the shade or cooling off in the pool. Your second game drive of the day will take place in the late afternoon, another great time for spotting wildlife. As evening falls it is generally the rule that guests enjoy ‘sundowners’. Nothing is better than having a cold drink while you watch the sun set over the African bush. You will return to the lodge for dinner and in many cases more drinks under the African night sky.

Day 13 - 19:

This morning you will transfer to Port Elizabeth airport and catch your flight to Johannesburg. From here catch your connection to Mauritius. On arrival in Mauritius you will be met at the airport with a warm Mauritian smile and privately transferred to your hotel. Over the next seven days you can partake in some of the free non-motorised watersports, go scuba diving or learn kite surfing as well as many other great activities. For those wanting to completely unwind and relax together you can take in a romantic duo spa treatment together, soak up the sun on the pristine white beaches or enjoy a special meal at one of the top gastronomic restaurants. As Mark Twain said “Mauritius was made first and then heaven, and heaven was copied after Mauritius”, the perfect place for your honeymoon. All of the properties we have suggested have a romantic atmosphere for you to enjoy together.

Day 20:

Today you will be picked up at your hotel and privately transferred back to the airport for your flight back to Heathrow.
