Our Comments and Suggestions on choosing a Room Type:
The Superior Rooms are situated either on the ground floor or the first floor and are sea-facing (not necessarily sea-view). 37 of the superior rooms are inter-leading. They can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children if necessary. The room size is 60m².
The Deluxe Rooms are the same size as the superior rooms but are situated on the second floor and are also sea facing. They can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child.
The Family Apartments are double the size of the superior and deluxe rooms and can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children. These are situated on the ground, first and second floor and again are sea facing. They offer spacious common areas both indoors and outdoors. The apartments feature 2 bathrooms.
These are wonderfully designed rooms with lovely special touches. We love the children’s sized bathrooms hanging in the children’s bathroom!
The Junior Suites are all on the ground flood and are 75m². These rooms are closest to the beach. The charm of those Suites is highlighted in their spacious wooden decks which face the gardens and beach. The room capacity is 2 adults and 1 baby.
The Senior Suites are situated on the second floor and along with the apartments are the most spacious category of accommodation at Le Victoria at 120m². These rooms are designed for 2 adults.
The Executive Suite is as large as the Senior Suites and situated on the second floor. Designed like the traditional Suite, the Executive Suite is perfect for corporate guests travelling on business. Room capacity is 2 adults.

Restaurants & Bars
Le Victoria offers 3 restaurants and 1 main bar.
The main restaurant is called Le Superbe and it overlooks the pool and lagoon. It also integrates a 30-seat Bob Marlin restaurant for children. Breakfast and dinner are buffet with dinner being international cuisine and 'live cooking'. Lunches are a la carte.
The beach restaurant is called L’Horizon and offers seafood specialities. It is only open for dinner on reservation. There is a Table d’hôte menu within the half board and a la carte with a supplement on the half board credit.
La Casa is a romantic Italian restaurant with boasts a panoramic view over Port-Louis. It is open for dinner and again there is a Table d’hôte menu within the half board and a la carte with a supplement on the half board credit.
Le Corail Bleu Bar is the main bar and ideal for sitting and gazing at magnificent sunsets over the sea. A selection of snacks and pastries are served here in the afternoon.
Le Victoria is in many ways designed for families. Not only do all of the rooms (except the senior & executive suite) accommodate children, but there are 2 bedroom family apartments specifically designed to accommodate families of 4 or 5. The all inclusive nature of the hotel (if you opt for this option) ensures that parents aren’t continuously worrying about every drink or snack being consumed by their children going onto a large bill at the end of the stay. During school holidays there will be plenty of other families at the hotel providing children with other children to play with and the kids club will keep children so entertained that parents can take a well earned break.

Kids Club
Like all Beachcomber hotels, Le Victoria offers a free mini-club providing a range of activities that will appeal to your children.
A few examples of activities arranged for your children are: excursions at the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, glass-bottom boat trips, glass painting, kayak trips, mini-Olympic games, picnics on the beach, sailing, tennis and water-skiing.
The actual kid’s club offers a bathroom, DVD/CD player, indoor games, a playground and television. The club is open daily from 9am to 9pm and reserved for children aged 3 years to 12 years. Baby sitting services are also available, however, a 24 hour notice is required.

On first appearance the child friendly nature of Le Victoria may put couples off the resort. If you travel outside school holidays the hotel will be more than suitable. The Junior and Senior Suite and would definitely provide the luxury you want on a special trip. The price is often what makes Le Victoria attractive. Weddings are also popular at Le Victoria with a number of secluded spots on offer.
Honeymoons
For most of 2010 Le Victoria is offering a 10% discount to Honeymooners as well as honeymoon gifts including a small bottle of champagne and fruits on arrival and a gift a bag and a t-shirt. Lunches are also offered complimentary during the whole of the stay or 50% reduction off All Inclusive.
Anniversaries
For most of 2010 Le Victoria is offering a 10% discount to those celebrating an anniversary well as special gifts including a small bottle of champagne and fruits on arrival and a gift of two t-shirts. A copy of the Wedding Certificate will be required on check-in for validation.
Applies to every 5th years Wedding Anniversary which must be within 3 months of the arrival date at the hotel.
