For the angling enthusiast the Bazaruto Archipelago is heralded as one of the greatest game fishing sites in the Indian Ocean. Species such as Sailfish, Blue and Black Marlin, and King Fish can be found roaming deep beneath the waters. Marlin Lodge proudly maintains fully equipped angling boats of the highest standard, as well as an outstanding tackling centre.
The warm topical waters of Benguerua Island have nature’s finest marine-life waiting to be explored by divers beneath their surface, with snorkelling adventures at the fine 2-mile reef, satisfying any curious enthusiast. Led by the resident PADI qualified diving instructor, diving sites and depths are varied along all levels of diving experience.

2 hour flight from Johannesburg to Vilanculos followed by 30 minute boat transfer to Benguerra Island. . (Twice weekly there is also a direct flight from the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport to Vilanculos)
