Bazaruto & Vilanculos
The Bazaruto climate is warm and tropical. Evenings are rarely cold, apart form a few nights in June and July and the region experiences less rainfall than areas further south. The summer temperatures often soar but due to the exposed position of the islands they experience less humidity than the main land .
Inhambane
CInhambane’s climate is describe as very humid with an average temperature of 24 degrees C, most of the rain falls during Midsummer (January) and it can get unbearably hot with the coast providing mild relief form the heat due to cooling sea breezes.

During the summer months (October to April) the climate in Maputo is Hot, wet and humid with temperatures averaging around 31 degrees C. The best times to travel to Maputo is between April and September, during this time the weather is much drier and slightly cooler with warm sunny days and cool nights.

Pemba has a humid, tropical climate with an average temperature ranging from 21 – 32 degrees Celsius. The hot rainy season runs from December to April whilst the dry season runs between May and September. The dry season makes for better tourism activities with and average temperature of 28 degrees and cooler nights.
