Andersons Camp, Namiba

Located in the midst of a game-rich savannah on the boundary of Etosha National Park, the atmosphere of Andersson's Camp makes for a comfortable modern-day base for exploring this world-class wildlife destination. A former farmstead has been tastefully rebuilt and now forms the main area fronting onto a waterhole. From here twenty tented guest units radiate outwards - mostly secluded in the mopane woodland so typical of the area. The area containing Africa's largest saltpan was 'discovered' by Sir Francis Galton and Charles Andersson in 1851, and the camp takes its name from that of the famed Swedish explorer (who also just happens to be the great grandfather of Mahlatini's MD, Gregory Fox!)

Location

Andersons Camp is approximately a 1hour 30 minute flight from Windhoek and 1h45 minute flight from Swakopmund.
