- Day 1:

On arrival you will be met by a Mahlatini representative at the Windhoek/Hosea Kutako International Airport, who will hand over your travel documents and assist you with the collection of your rental vehicle.
Self drive from Windhoek/Hosea Kutako International Airport to Haus Sonneneck, located in Windhoek, Namibia's capital city. Windhoek offers the ideal base to get some well needed rest after your long international flight, enjoy some shopping in our clean town and orientate yourself before commencing on your journey.

- Day 2 & 3:

Self drive from Haus Sonneneck to Kulala Desert Lodge. Highlights at Kulala include visits to the Sossusvlei dunes and attempting to climb Big Daddy, enjoying nature drives looking for Bat Ear Foxes and other desert wildlife, and evening Scorpion Walks, using UV lights to search for the critters that glow in the dark.
The following day you will depart on a scheduled morning Sossusvlei excursion, leaving camp just before sunrise to enter the National Park via the private gate (available only on guided tours) at sunrise. You explore the Namib dunes, including Dune 45 and Big Daddy, as well as the hauntingly dry Dead Vlei, and end the sandy explorations with a wholesome brunch under a Camelthorn tree in the park. The rest of the day is at your leisure and you can explore nearby attractions like Sesriem Canyon on your own, access is possible for all vehicle types.

- Day 4 & 5:

Self drive from Kulala Desert Lodge to Swakopmund. Swakopmund is the ideal family destination, a quaint town that offers a cool climate year round, and offers a selection of fun activities for children of all ages, from boat cruises to playing on the beach searching for shells, to sandboarding and quadbiking tours for the older children.
The following day you will be collected from Cornerstone Apartment and taken on a Living Desert Tour, searching for the "Little Five" of the Namib Desert, including the Desert Chameleon, White Lady spider, Sidewinder Viper, Tok Tokkie beatle and barking Gecko.

Self drive from Swakopmund to Doro Nawas. The Damaraland is culturally very interesting, including trips to fascinating rock engravings, visits to the local Damara communities and searching for the desert adapted elephants, as well as hoping to catch a glimpse of a Black Rhino.

Self drive from Doro Nawas to Okaukuejo Rest Camp. Okaukuejo is located inside Namibia's premier wildlife destination, the Etosha National Park. The waterhole located at the camp is one of the busiest in terms of wildlife sightings and Okaukuejo is one of the few camps that can host children of all ages. You can enjoy your own game drives within the park.

- Day 9 & 10:

Self drive from Okaukuejo Rest Camp to Mushara Bush Camp. Mushara Bush Camp is one of the few true family friendly camps in Namibia. In the main house there is a special area designated for children offering a choice of books, games, toys, drawing utensils, creative plays and very friendly child minders to keep the children active. Outside there is a play park with a jungle gym, old tractor and a sand pit, as well as a kiddie’s pool. The close location to eastern Etosha means it's also an ideal base from which to explore the National Park.

Self drive from Mushara Bush Camp to Frans Indongo Lodge. Frans Indongo is ideally located to break the long journey between Etosha and Windhoek. From Frans Indongo guests can visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund, for close encounters with cheetah, as well as the Rare and Endangered Species Trust to observe the Cape Griffon Vulture.

Self drive from Frans Indongo Lodge to Elegant Farmstead. This charming farm is the ideal way to end your holiday. Lots of space for kids to run around and play, the family unit is spacious, and the family can reminiscence about the past Namibian adventure whilst enjoy wholesome meals. A short farm drive with sundowners enjoyed at a nearby koppie is a perfect way to enjoy the last night in Namibia.
