posted in Malawi on Wednesday, January 6, 2010

Danforth Lodge is on its way to completing 4 additional lodge bedrooms. Provision is made for families with a family room that will comfortably sleep 4. Many visitors will be happy to hear that each of the lodges 8 rooms are air conditioned, en-suite and lake facing. Décor is stylish and nautically themed. The kitchen has increased in size and the cooks seem to be enjoying the additional workspace. One of the more well known facts about Danforth is its reputation for consistently great food. The time and effort put into training their chefs seems to be paying off and time and time again guests comment on how good the food is. The same can be said for their outdoor staff with the boatmen now proficient sailors, scuba divers and water-skiers. Danforths owners, Howard and Michelle, are proud of their staffs achievements and are planning on keeping the standard they bring to the lodge as high as they possibly can. Training the staff is part of their job, and the job is being done very well.
