Golf Overview
Relatively new on the golf scene, there are several hotels in Oman now offering outstanding golf courses. Whilst not as widely regarded as Dubai or Abu Dhabi for example, Oman is still possible as a golfing destination. A new 18-hole Links Golf Course, designed by legendary golfer Greg Norman is now situated at the Wave Complex, Muscat. Extending over 800,000 square metres, the Links Course is Oman’s first ever sea-facing PGA Standard course. With each hole overlooking the sea and signature holes having water on three aspects, this is certainly one for the connoisseurs and amateurs alike. As several Omani hotels have golf courses as well, it is certainly possible to combine a 7 day break with playing a few courses.
