Our Comments and Suggestions on choosing a Room Type:
There are 79 pool villas, the Private Reserve and 2 retreats here, all of which are designed in an indigenous village style environment, complete with traditional Omani architecture and all of the modern amenities we come to expect whilst on holiday. The villas are spacious, uniquely designed and chic in decor. The accommodation provided is of a tremendously elevated standard and would be definitely suited for the more discerning travellers among us.
Pool Villas have direct beach access, an infinity edged pool and both indoor and outdoor showers. At 247 SQM they offer an amazing space to spend your time and extra amenities such as butler service, a pillow menu and whirlpool bathtub are just some of the extras that make these villas extraordinary.
Pool Villa Suites are as above but at 412 SQM have a much larger outdoor pool area. With a separate bedroom and living area, they provide the ultimate in comfort and again come complete with modern amenities.
Spa Pool Villas are equivalent to the Pool Villas, these stunning villas come complete with an area in which guests can enjoy a personal in-villa spa session or any number of treatments with a skilled therapist. Again like the pool villa, there are designed to present a studio concept with sleeping and living areas.

Our Comments and Suggestions on Dining at The Six Senses Hideaway
The Six Senses Hideaway offers a mixture of dining options in surreal settings. Dining overlooking the magnificent Zighy Bay is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate, while Zighys open air deli offers a more casual dining experience throughout the day. Private in-villa dining is also available, allowing the guest to retain an air of exclusivity and privacy for the romantic in you. Private dining is also offered at selected romantic venues and the Chef and Sommelier are always on hand to create your perfect menu for that special occasion.
Dining on the Sand
This 68-seater restaurant opens for breakfast and dinner and takes guests to an era of rustic simplicity. Serving a variety of pan Asian, Middle Eastern and Continental dishes, this is sure to appeal to everyone.
Sense on the Edge
A restaurant with a view as delectable as the food. Dine perched high atop the mountains overlooking the incredible Zighy Bay; with unconventional menus and an outstanding wine collection, this is bound to create a perfect evening.
Zighy Deli
The open air deli provides the ideal place to haven to escape the midday sun. Sandwiches and burgers, Paninis and focaccias are served up here along with over 42 flavours of ice creams and sorbets.
In-villa Dining
The In-Villa dining experience is available 24hrs a day, with a variety of home cooked meals and snacks served as you wish. Private BBQs and champagne breakfasts are a must for honeymooners and dining under the stars is an experience you will never forget.
Private Dining experiences
The Chef and Sommelier will assist you in making a menu to match your very needs for that special occasion. Choose from a variety of venues around the irresistible Zighy bay, and claim memories which will last a lifetime!
There are many activities available at the Six Senses, including creative tours, combining luxury, scenery and culture. Sunset cruises along the Musandam Fjords and sailing along the Arabian Ocean in a Dhow ship are just some of the experiences on offer.

Private Reserves & Retreats
Private Retreats here are located at either end of the beautiful Zighy Bay, and offer an unsurpassed level of luxury and privacy. The villas offer a spacious environment (1122 sqm) and you can enjoy the intimacy of your own private beach, spa indulgence room and oversized swimming pool. Private Chefs and butler services complete this extravagant style, yet it remains subtle and private, with the emphasis on service.

The Private Reserve is 3000spm and located at a secluded end on the stunningly beautiful Zighy bay with its own private stretch of beach. An Arabic courtyard overlooks three private villas making up this stunning reserve. Striking open spaces provide amazing vantage points of the shimmering Gulf of Oman and the name ”Hideaway” couldn’t be more apt here. Four bedrooms, separate living and dining areas, a gym and wine cellar and an oversized infinity pool complete the experience. A live in butler and your own private chef will cater to your every need and separate dining areas for entertaining are the perfect place to relax in the evenings. The Private Reserve will sleep 8 adults and 2 children.

Families
Children are welcome at the Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay, and the resort even has its own kids club – Chaika. The club is complimentary for guests and welcomes children aged 4-12 for supervised and age appropriate activities. Movies are shown in the evenings and the club is open daily to allow parents a chance to dine separately if they so wish.
Note: Whilst Six Senses Zinghy Bay welcomes families, we feel this resort is more suited to an adult environment.
Spa
The The award winning spa here is designed to reflect typical Omani style architecture amid an oasis of calm and tranquillity. The Six Senses Spa has nine treatment rooms, three of which have outdoor showers, baths and relaxation areas.
International therapists combine Eastern and Western techniques to provide you with a bespoke spa experience. The Spa menu here is completely comprehensive and wellness consultants will advise you of which treatments are best for you. Meditation and well being are paramount here, as the Spa helps to rejuvenate both body and mind.
Drinks on the Edge
The Lounge presents a new mantra in drinks and mixology. An effervescent ambience, with soft background music and candle light, perfectly compliment the signature cocktails and canapés on offer here.
Chill – The Mood Bar
Sundowners and ice cold margaritas, cocktails and wine coolers are the perfect pre and post dinner drinks in this incredible bar. A luscious cocktail menu will lure you out way past bedtime and you are sure to enjoy the extensive wine list.
Vinotheque
As with all Six Senses properties, the wine cellar here encompasses some of the world’s most highly regarded and awarded wines. Vinotheque also hosts regular wine tasting evenings and wine and cheese nights with the Master Sommelier. Haute Couture Wine dining evenings, are designed for those keen to explore the secrets of the wine cellar and which wine to pair with a perfectly cooked meal.
