Day 2 - 4:

Arrive this morning in Cape Town to start your honeymoon together in this vibrant exciting city. Pick up your hire car and drive roughly 15 – 20 minutes to your accommodation. There are many different places for you to visit over the next three days including the famous Table Mountain. Other attractions in the city include Robben Island, Bokaap or the V&A Waterfront. Why not take a scenic drive down the Cape Peninsula towards Cape Point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans are said to meet stopping off at Boulders beach along the way to see the Jackass Penguin Colony. Beach lovers can head to one of the nearby beaches of Clifton or Camps Bay.

Day 5 - 7:

Drive you hire car back to Cape Town International and fly across to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (Nelspruit), the gateway to the Kruger National Park. You will be met at the airport and transferred by road to your lodge in either the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve or Thornybush Private Game Reserve, both of which flank the Kruger National Park. There are no fences between this and the Kruger National Park so the game can move freely. The Kruger area is synonymous with the big five (Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard) and offers some of the best chances in Africa for really up close game experiences, great for photography and wildlife enthusiasts as well as first time safari goers.

Spend the next three days partaking in twice daily game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles. You days will start early around dawn with a wake up call. After having some tea or coffee you will set off on the morning game drive with your game ranger and Shangaan tracker in search of the local animals. You will usually have chance to stop and enjoy the morning sunshine next to a waterhole during your drive. Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in the shade or perhaps in the pool.

Your second game drive of the day will take place in the late afternoon. As evening falls it is generally the rule that guests enjoy ‘sundowners’. This gives you chance to listen to the bush with the engines switched off, hear the hum of crickets and cicadas and the cry of hyenas or a jackal in the distance. Watch the moon rise and gaze up at the Milky Way as you enjoy your drinks. You will then be returned to the lodge for a bushveld dinner and possibly more drinks under the African sky after which you can retire to your room to take in the wonderful night sounds of the African bushveld.

Day 8:

Today you will have a final game drive and lunch before being transferred by road to Hoedspruit airport to catch your early evening flight to Johannesburg. On arrival catch your connecting flight to Seychelles which is overnight.

Overnight Flight
Day 9 - 15:

Once you arrive in the capital Mahe you will be met at the airport and privately transferred to your accommodation (either by car or light aircraft). During the next seven days you can partake in some of the free non-motorised watersports, scuba dive on one of the offshore reefs or learn kite surfing as well as other great activities. You may also wish to go island hopping or shopping which is easily arranged. For those wanting to completely unwind and relax you can pamper yourselves in the top class spas, try some of the fantastic Creole cuisine or simply enjoy the sunshine together on the beach. The hotels in the Seychelles are made for romance and the properties we have suggested all have a great honeymoon ambiance.

Day 16:

Today you will be collected and privately transferred to Mahe airport for your flight back to London Heathrow.

South Africa & Seychelles

Customer Review

Holiday to South Africa during September 2010

South Africa Review

I loved it. I did not think it was so developed and so clean and there were no potholes on the roads. My conclusion is that I was very ignorant about the country. The level of developement I foundw as far superior to what I had anticipated and the quality of the food was excellent. In terms of crime...
