Cousine Island, Seychelles

Cousine Island is one of the smaller granitic islands, and is a private nature reserve. It is home to five of Seychelles endemic birds along with a variety of other flora and fauna, A maximum of 10 guests are accommodated at any one time, which makes Cousine Island very exclusive and the ideal place for complete privacy. There are just four individual villas on the island, nestled in among the vegetation, and each one is just thirty meters form the beach. Every villa has spacious bedrooms, a large lounge, a large bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and front and rear patios. The pavilion consists of an open-plan dining room, bar, lounge and a library overlooking the large freshwater swimming pool. If you are looking for some nightlife or some organized activity then Cousine Island is not for you. However if you are looking for piece and quiet, space to relax and some tranquility then this is the ideal setting for you.


Location: Six kilometres off the west coast of Praslin.
Transfer Times: By helicopter - 15 minutes from Mahe or 5 minutes from Praslin.
