Day 1 - 4:

Following your arrival into Cape Town Airport you will collect your hire car and drive to the city which is approximately a 15 min drive away (depending on traffic). Spend the next four days exploring the attractions of the city such as Table Mountain, Robben Island, Bokaap or the V&A Waterfront. Or perhaps spend your days either taking in a game of golf, visiting Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, exploring the leafy Constantia suburbs or lounging on the nearby beaches of Clifton or Camps Bay. You could also enjoy a scenic drive down the Cape Peninsula towards Cape Point with a stop at the Penguin Colony at Boulders beach along the way. Tours on offer include city tours, township tours and winelands tours.

Day 5 - 6:

Today take the approximately 1 hour drive to the scenic coastal town of Hermanus, famous for being one of the best places in the world for sightings of the Southern Right Whales (in season June – Nov). Spend the days walking along the famous cliff top walk around Walker Bay or simply lazing on the beach or having lunch in one of the many restaurants.

Day 7 - 9:

Today take the approximately one hour drive to the Cape Winelands and to your base in either Franschoek or Stellenbosch. Spend your time here visiting some of the finest wine estates that South Africa has to offer and to exploring the very beautiful and historic towns. To treat yourselves we recommend a picnic at Boschendal Wine Estate (needs pre-booked), lunch at Lanzerac Manor and dinner at the African style Moyo Restaurant at the Spier Wine Estate. The winelands is not just about tasting wines but also about enjoying good food. The area has some of the best restaurants that South Africa has to offer.

Customer Review

Holiday to South Africa during September 2010

South Africa Review

I loved it. I did not think it was so developed and so clean and there were no potholes on the roads. My conclusion is that I was very ignorant about the country. The level of developement I foundw as far superior to what I had anticipated and the quality of the food was excellent. In terms of crime...
