Location

Bushmans Kloof is located in Cederberg Mountains, Western Cape, 270 km (170 miles) North East of Cape Town. By Road it is 2½ hours drive via Clanwilliam. Alternatively it can be reached by air via helicopter from Cape Town to the private airstrip.

• Depending on the occurrence of good winter rainfalls, the veld bursts into spectacular flower sometime between July and October, the botanical treasures of Bushmans Kloof include over 755 indigenous plant species spread over three biomes: dry mountain Fynbos, succulent Karoo and mountain forest. Some of these species cannot be found anywhere else, and Bushmans Kloof has identified its own “Special Collection” – plant species unique to the area and which are being nurtured on the property.
• Bushmans Kloof today protects one of the largest private herds of Cape Mountain Zebra in the world.

Accommodation - Main Lodge:

Bushmans Kloof main lodge offers 16 rooms, which can accommodate 32 guests.All rooms feature: Air conditioning and ceiling fans, under-floor heating, in-room safe, direct dial telephone, mini bar, thrice daily turndown service, complimentary laundry and valet service for Suite, Satellite flat screen TV, DVD and CD player and iPod docking station in Suite and Deluxe Rooms.

The main lodge is comprised of:

• Seven Luxury Rooms (Twin or Double Beds, all with private patio overlooking manicured gardens
• Seven Deluxe Rooms (6 Twin Beds, 1 King Bed), all with large private patio and lounge area within the bedroom and some with fireplaces
• One Suite (King Bed) offering offering a large private patio with views of the river and mountains and a separate sitting room with fireplace
• One Supreme suite (King Bed)which is a private, luxury riverside cottage offering a separate lounge area with fireplace, flat screen TV in both the lounge and bedroom and designer bath and shower. It boasts a spacious, secluded private patio with outdoor shower and private infinity pool.

Accommodation - Koro Lodge:

Koro lodge is a private villa in the heart of the reserve (5km from Main Gate and 3km from Main Lodge) is ideal for families travelling with young children and groups of friends. The villa can accommodate 4 adults and 4 young children, however there are 2 single day beds in the entertainment lounge. Koro Lodge can sleep up to 10 persons, depending on the configurations.
