The Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, South Africa

Robert Andersson, Mauritius

This is a very popular hotel and for good reason, not only does it have an enviable position right on the water which isn’t common in Cape Town but it also very near to the V&A Waterfront. It isn’t right on the Waterfront (not in walking distance really) but there is a free shuttle bus which runs regularly between the Waterfront and the hotel. It has an excellent spa and the restaurant offers incredible views over the Atlantic Ocean, particularly at sunset. The Business Class rooms would be the most popular room type precisely because of these views. The hotel is well done and offers great specials at certain times of the year. We have had nothing but good reports about this hotel from our previous clients.

The 5 star Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront enjoys arguably the best position of any hotel in Cape Town - a prime waterfront position on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel features a private marina and is complimented by décor that exhibits a distinctively nautical flair. The hotel is within walking distance of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the central business district and is within easy driving distance of all of the major attractions. The hotel offers a relaxed and casual ambience whilst still providing the luxury of a top five star hotel.

Honeymoon to South Africa during October 2011

We found this hotel to be great. When we arrived at the airport we were met by the Avis driver who was very friendly and informative about Cape Town. He brought us to the hotel where we found the reception staff to be very friendly and efficient. We upgraded to a sea view room which was a fantastic room. We would definitely stay there again.

Holiday to South Africa during September 2010

South Africa Review

I loved it. I did not think it was so developed and so clean and there were no potholes on the roads. My conclusion is that I was very ignorant about the country. The level of developement I foundw as far superior to what I had anticipated and the quality of the food was excellent. In terms of crime...
