I liked Abalone Lodge. It has a lovely nautical and beach theme throughout the rooms which are bright and airy. The views from the patio are stunning. The lodge has a laid back feel to it and it is reasonably priced. It would be perfect for both couples and families with children.

Abalone Guest Lodge is situated on Sievers Point, a landmark beach front position midway between the town centre and beautiful white beaches of Hermanus. Abalone Guest Lodge offers an outstanding opportunity to watch Whales thanks to the well-known scenic cliff path. Come and stay in comfortable, tastefully decorated en-suite accommodation that offers you every luxury and stunning all round views of Walker Bay and the mountains.

Accommodation:
4 rooms including 2 luxury sea facing rooms with balconies, a garden facing room with terrace and a luxury mountain view room with terrace. All our rooms have private balconies or patios, are en-suite and have Satellite TV's, telephones, email and fax, under floor heating, personalised linen, heated towel rails, tea coffee facilities, mini-bar, overhead fans and electronic safes.

There are approximately 70 restaurants, 6 bars and 10 coffee shops in Hermanus.
