Walk, jog or cycle the vast 700 hectare Estate, take an outride by horseback, experience professional polo tuition, or enjoy the exhilaration of a quad bike ride. Activities in nearby Plettenberg Bay / Tsitsikamma and Knysna areas include: visits to the Elephant Sanctuary and to Monkeyland, whale and dolphin watching, beach activities, horse trails, bungi jumping, treetop canopy tours, scuba diving and many more.

Kurland Hotel offers 12 suites including elegant suites, luxury suites, superior suites, family suites and honeymoon suites. All suites have oversized beds, exquisite linens, huge en suite bathrooms, a lounge area and terrace, and are equipped with modern facilities such as telephones, satellite television, safes, mini bars, heated towel rails and under floor heating. The superior suites all have private pools, which enjoy magnificent views of the estate, whilst the luxury suites have secluded courtyards and water features. The Luxury and Superior suites all have private loft rooms that are specially furnished for children with their own en suite bathrooms.
